    • A nonaqueous resin dispersion in which particles of a low molecular weight polyolefin are finely and uniformly dispersed, which dispersion is obtained by the polymerization of a vinyl monomer (C) in the presence of 20 to 90% by weight of a substantially saturated polymer (A), based upon the total weight of the reactants (A), (B) and (C), and a low molecular weight polyolefin (B) dispersed finely therein. The resin dispersions of the present invention contain the low molecular weight polyolefin finely and uniformly dispersed such that it has an average particle diameter of not more than 10.mu. and preferably not more than 1.mu.. According to the Invention, the polyolefin is more finely and uniformly dispersed than previous dispersions produced by mechanical melt-dispersion of low molecular weight polyolefin and a resin.

    • In a file-accessing system for use in an information-processing apparatus, an original file name and its simplified file name constitute one piece of conversion data. One or a plurality pieces of such conversion data are prepared. A conversion rule is prepared from one or more pieces of conversion data. A single conversion rule may be prepared, or a plurality of conversion rules may be prepared. The conversion rule or rules are stored in a conversion rule storage, with each conversion rule in the form of one file. When specific conversion rules are designated, from among the conversion rules stored in the conversion rule storage, they are loaded into a RAM area. When a simplified file name entered by the operator is received by the system, it is converted into its corresponding original file name, with the RAM area examined. In this manner, the file-accessing system enables a file to be accessed with a simplified file name. In addition, since the file name conversion is executed by use only of the specific conversion rule, it is practically impossible for unauthorized persons to use the conversion rule. Therefore, the file can be accessed easily and yet reliable file security is ensured.

    • A switching device for detecting the rotational positions of a rotary shaft including a lever rotating with the rotary shaft as a unit, and an electrically conductive plate spring having a central portion and two side portions which is bent and mounted on the lever. The two side portions of the plate spring are each formed with a movable electrical contact, and electrical contacts each juxtaposed against one of the movable electrical contacts on the plate spring are formed in fixed members respectively. Rotation of the lever brings one set of movable and fixed contacts into and out of engagement with each other to detect one rotational position, and further rotation thereof brings the other set of movable and fixed contacts into and out of engagement with each other to detect another rotational position. The plate spring is held in position in flexed condition on the lever by retaining means which has the effect of positively keeping the two contacts with each other. A rotor rotated by the lever with a certain amount of hysteresis may be provided, and the contact cooperating with one of the movable contacts on the plate spring for detecting the second rotational position may be mounted on the rotor. The rotor may further have a plurality of contacts for engaging conductors printed in the form of a comb on a printed board.
