    • A semiconductor device capable of reducing power consumption is provided. When a power to an internal circuit is interrupted, e.g., in a standby mode, a switch is turned off, and a pseudo-ground line is charged with a leak current of the internal circuit to raise a potential thereof. After the switch is turned off, a switch connected to a charge supply unit is turned on while the potential is rising, so that the charge supply unit is electrically coupled to the pseudo-ground line. Thereby, charges accumulated in the charge supply unit are discharged to the pseudo-ground line. The switch is turned off to decouple electrically the charge supply unit from the pseudo-ground line. Thereby, when the power supply is interrupted, a part of the charges for raising the potential of the pseudo-ground line is supplemented with the charges of the charge supply unit.

    • A voltage supply control circuit is arranged between a true ground voltage and a pseudo ground line. In an active mode, first and second control signals are at the “H” and “L” levels, respectively. In response to this, a first switch is turned on so that a first node is electrically coupled to a power supply voltage, and attains the “H” level. Further, a second switch is turned on to couple electrically the ground voltage to a second node. In a standby mode, the first and second control signals are at the “L” and “H” levels, respectively. In response to this, a third switch is turned on to couple electrically the first and second nodes together. Since the power supply voltage was electrically coupled to the first node according to the turn-on of the first switch in the active mode, the path of the control signal including the first node to the switch has accumulated charged charges.

    • To enhance the targeting accuracy in providing services such as provision of samples for members by performing management of member information and authentication while securing personal anonymity. There is provided a center server and a store terminal. The center server gives a unique ID to a member application, sends it to a particular mobile information terminal and manages it as authentication information about a member who is the user of the mobile information terminal. In response to purchases of a particular article by the member, the store terminal inputs the ID from the mobile information terminal and inputs purchase information about the article the member purchases. The center server then acquires attribute information about a member identified by the ID. Then, by checking the purchase information, the attribute information and service information set in association with attribute information about the member and kinds of articles and stored in particular storage means, information about a service to be provided for the member is identified.
