摘要： A base plate, a first slider and a second slider are fit in one another to produce one assemblage. The first slider is caused to move relative to the base plate along an X axis by a first actuator. The second slider moves in unison with the first slider, and also is caused to solely move along a Y axis by a second actuator. A magnetic sensor unit is provided in the base plate, and a magnet support is provided in the second slider so as to face the magnetic sensor unit. A magnet is disposed on a lower face of the magnet support. The magnetic sensor unit and the magnet form a position detection mechanism, and the second slider in which the magnet is disposed requires no electric wiring.

摘要： Provided are an inkjet printing apparatus and inkjet printing method that can, regardless of an ejection frequency of a print head, stabilize density of an image expressed on a print medium. For this purpose, an ink concentration integrated value is obtained according to the ejection history of each nozzle so as to be increased by data indicating non-ejection of the nozzle or decreased by data indicating ejection. Then, image data on the target pixel is corrected such that density of the target pixel is further reduced as the pixel is subjected to printing by a nozzle having a higher ink concentration integrated value.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid applying apparatus which can inhibit a variation in application amount associated with the individual variability of a component of the apparatus. According to the present invention, a liquid holding space in which a liquid is held is formed between the applying member and the liquid holding member. When the applying member moves, the liquid attached to the applying member is fed out of the liquid holding space together with the applying member. The liquid is applied to a medium. The application amount of liquid applied to the applying medium varies depending on the individual variability of a component such as a liquid applying member. The variation in liquid application amount is adjusted by adjusting section for adjusting, the rotation speed of the liquid holding member or the flow speed of the liquid flowing through the liquid holding space.
