摘要： A depth-of-field preview apparatus for a single lens reflex camera is provided with a display circuit responsive to a preview display signal generated by a control circuit with at least one of first and second switches being closed. The first switch is closed when an operating member is operated to an operated position and opened when the operating member is released to return to a non-operated position under a spring bias. In response to the closure of the first switch the control circuit generates the preview display signal and an electromagnetic device causes a diaphragm stop-down mechanism to stop-down a diaphragm. When the diaphragm is stopped-down to a preset aperture size, another electromagnetic device stops the diaphragm stop-down mechanism to set the diaphragm to the preset aperture size and at the same time closes the second switch. With the second switch being closed the control circuit continues to generate the preview display signal independently of the condition of the first switch, so that a preview display by the display circuit does not cease even if the operating member is released and accordingly the first switch is opened.

摘要： This invention is directed to a camera which has an information setting device including an information setting member rotatable around a display device. The information setting member is provided with a window member which covers the display device and through which the indication displayed on the display device can be seen. The display device is supported on a frame which defines a camera body in association with a cover member surrounding the frame, while the information setting device is supported on the cover member. Accordingly, the size of both devices can be made large without necessity of enlarging the camera body in proportion to the size of the devices. Further, both devices can be assembled independently from each other. Namely, the information setting device is mounted on the cover member which is still separated from the frame. Meanwhile, the display device is mounted on the frame. Finally, the cover member with the information setting device and frame with the display device are assembled. Accordingly, the devices are easily assembled, inspected and adjusted.

Frames are formed by parts 31b, 32b, 33b of the negative electrode formed of non-transparent material, an organic electroluminescent material is laminated thereon on the eyepiece side, and a positive electrode formed of transparent material is superimposed thereon on the eyepiece side. Since the non-transparent negative electrodes 31b, 32b, 33b shield the light, the frames are recognized as black frames. When the periphery is dark, a voltage is applied between the electrodes causing the organic electroluminescent material to luminesce, such that the frame itself becomes brighter in display and is readily visible.
