A SIP call processor identifies an incoming SIP trunk group based on one or more parameters associated with an incoming SIP message. The SIP call processor selects per-trunk-group call processing data based on the incoming SIP trunk group. The SIP call processor selectively processes the call based on the per-trunk-group call processing data selected for the incoming SIP trunk group.

摘要： Disclosed is a communications network element that is capable of routing signaling messages and includes a dynamic routing key registration feature which allows Internet protocol (IP) nodes to automatically register/de-register and subsequently direct traffic towards or away from themselves without the need for manual operator intervention. A signaling gateway routing node includes a self-registering data communication module (sDCM) that is adapted to receive and process dynamic routing key registration messages from associated IP nodes. Such dynamic routing key registration messages may include information that is used to register a new routing key association with a TCP/IP connection, de-register an existing routing key association with the TCP/IP connection, or modify routing key information associated with the TCP/IP connection.

A radio access network gateway translates messages from an ATM-based protocol to a non-ATM-based protocol, such as the stream control transmission protocol and vice versa. The radio access network gateway forwards the SCTP messages to the core network. In addition, the radio access network gateway receives messages from the core network formatted according to the core network protocol and translates these messages to an ATM-based protocol for communication to a radio network controller.

摘要： Methods and systems for performing sales transactions using a mobile communications device and without requiring text messaging or paging services are disclosed. In one example, a subscriber desiring to purchase goods or services proceeds to a point of sale device where the purchase price for the goods or services is totaled. The subscriber then initiates a voice call with a central transaction server. The subscriber provides a point of sale device identifier and the purchase price to the central transaction server. The central transaction server contacts a local transaction server using the identifier provided by the subscriber. The central transaction server also prompts the subscriber to select the payment account for the transaction and verifies that the subscriber has sufficient credit to purchase the goods or services. The central transaction server locates a pending transaction entry in a database local to the point of sale using the device identifier provided by the subscriber. Upon locating the pending transaction entry and verifying that the subscriber has sufficient credit, the central transaction server notifies the subscriber and the point of sale device that the transaction is complete.
