    • The circuit breaker is intended for installation in a low-voltage distribution board having a socket and having at least two busbars which are guided parallel, are held on the socket and are each associated with one pole conductor of a multiphase power supply system. This circuit breaker has an enclosure as well as a plug contact for making contact with one of the busbars. The plug contact can be positioned as a function of the position of the busbar with which contact is to be made, and is held on a contact mount, which can be moved transversely with respect to the busbars and can be locked to the circuit breaker enclosure. In a circuit breaker such as this, a pole conductor change from one busbar to another busbar can be carried out quickly and without the use of any tools.

    • Exemplary embodiments are directed to a plug-in system having a lower part, on which busbars can be arranged, and an upper part which is made of electrically insulating material and is releasable from the lower part in a non-destructive manner on a top side arranged opposite the underside. Protective devices having electrical contacts can be arranged on the plug-in system. The upper part has openings through which the electrical contacts of the protective devices can make direct contact with the busbars. The openings are configured in such a manner that the plug-in system is shockproof to IP XXB. The upper part and lower part are latchable into one another or are screwable to one another in such a manner that the upper part is releasable from the lower part only from the underside of the plug-in system.

    • A servo controlled motor has an annular coil arrangement with meander-shaped windings and an annular arrangement of magnetic pole pairs, positioned for concentric relative rotation. A first coil is formed by a first number of the windings aligned at a first angle and with consistent pitch relative to a diameter line. A first number of pole pairs are aligned at the first angle and correspond in number and pitch to the first number of windings. A second coil is formed by a second number of windings. The second number of windings is aligned at a second angle relative to the diameter line. A second number of the pole pairs are aligned at the second angle and correspond in number and pitch to the second number of windings. Voltages are induced in the second coil by the second, but not by the first, number of pole pairs. Alternatively, the first number of windings define a grid of winding positions. A second coil is formed by a second number of windings aligned at the first angle. Some of the second number of windings are disposed in winding positions and others are offset from winding positions. A second number of the pole pairs aligned substantially at the first angle correspond in number and relative position to the second number of windings. Voltages induced in the second number of windings by the first number of pole pairs substantially cancel out, but voltages induced by the second number of pole pairs add together.

    • A rotating head wheel for a recorder is displaceable in the direction of its axis of rotation. The displacement is produced by mounting the head wheel on a threaded spindle using a nut arrangement. The spindle rotates in the same direction as the head wheel and its rate of rotation is variable. The nut arrangement includes two nuts disposed along the same axis. A spring, disposed between the two nuts, pushes the nuts in opposite directions. The nuts are capable of moving in the direction of the axis but cannot be twisted relative to each other. In this way, the threads of the nuts make continuous contact with the thread of the spindle to compensate for a backlash between the spindle and the nuts.

    • In a process for the detection of the limit level of liquids and bulk materials in containers and pipelines, the change in the oscillation behavior of a sensor which is excited to oscillation is detected electronically and used to trigger a switch command. As sensor there is used a parallel bimorph piezoelectric element (22) having a common central electrode (44) and two outer electrodes (46, 48). A first alternating voltage (U1) with an oscillator frequency (f1) is applied between the central electrode (44) and a first outer electrode (46), a second alternating voltage is measured as amplitude of oscillation (U2) with corresponding oscillation frequency (f2) between the central electrode (44) and the second outer electrode (48), and the measured amplitude of oscillation (U2) or oscillation frequency (f2) is converted into an output switch signal.In a device suitable for the carrying out of the process, the piezoelectric element (22) is inserted in liquid-tight manner into a plastic cover (24), the plastic cover (24) in its turn being fastened in liquid-tight manner to a plastic housing which passes through the wall (16) of a container or a pipeline, and the plastic cover (24) together with the piezoelectric element (22) extends into a protective tube (18) developed on the plastic housing (12).
