摘要： A resealable package configured to contain a consumable product includes a flexible substrate blank having a flap portion, a back portion and a front portion, wherein the flap portion, the back portion and the front portion are contiguously formed portions of the flexible substrate blank. The package further includes a pocket formed by the cooperation of an inner surface of the front portion and an inner surface of the back portion along a first fold line, and a tamper indicator formed by the cooperation of an inner surface of the flap portion and the outer surface of the front portion on the side of the pocket when the flap portion engages the pocket after being folded along a second fold line.

摘要： The present inventin is an apparatus and method for inserting articles into packages. The apparatus includes a dispensing assembly and a feeding assembly; and the dispensing assembly, in turn, includes a dispenser body, a gate and an actuator. The dispensor body defines a loading chamber for holding the articles, an inlet for conducting the articles into the loading chamber, and an outlet for dispensing the articles from the loading chamber. The gate is connected to the dispenser body for movement between a closed position, wherein the gate extends across the outlet of the dispenser body to hold the articles in the loading chamber, and an open position to allow the articles to pass through the outlet of the dispenser body. The actuator of the dispensing assembly is provided to move the gate from its closed position to its open position to dispense articles into the packages from the dispenser body. The feeding assembly extends adjacent the inlet of the dispenser body for receiving the articles from a source thereof and transporting the articles into the inlet of the dispenser body. Preferably, the apparatus further comprises a control assembly to coordinate the operation of the dispensing assembly and the feeding assembly so that each time one of the packages passes beneath the dispenser, one, and preferably only one, of the articles is inserted into that package.

摘要： A case packing apparatus comprising a stacking assembling, a case positioning assembly, and a pusher assembly. The stacking assembly is provided to form a stack of articles; the case positioning assembly is provided to receive a case in a receiving position and to move the case to a loading position, wherein an open end of the case is located adjacent that stack of articles; and the pusher assembly is provided to push the stack of articles into the case. The case positioning assembly includes an engagement member and a pivot arm that is spaced from the engagement member when the case is in the receiving position; and, as the case is moved toward the loading position, the pivot arm engages the engagement member and pivots the case about an upwardly moving axis to move the case into its loading position.
