    • An apparatus for rotating a tubing string of a pumping wellhead is described which includes a housing having a first end, a second end, and an interior. The first end has a stationary external coupling communicating with the interior. The second end is adapted for attachment to a wellhead. A drive assembly is disposed in the interior. The drive assembly includes a rotatable tubular member having a first end and a second end. The first end of the tubular member is disposed within the interior of the housing in fluid communication with the stationary external coupling. The second end of the tubular member extends past the second end of the housing thereby providing a rotatable coupling engagable with a tubing string. The drive assembly rotates the tubular member. Bearings are disposed between the tubular member and the interior of the housing thereby facilitating rotation of the tubular member. Dynamic seals are disposed between the tubular member and the interior of the housing.

    • An on-site selective call receiver interacts with a wide area selective call system to increase the probability of timely message reception by a selective call receiver capable of operating in either the wide area or the on-site selective call system. A frequency shifting signal is transmitted from the wide area system in response to addition of the selective call receiver to the on-site registry or automatic detection of entry of the selective call receiver into the on-site selective call system coverage area. The selective call receiver shifts to the wide area frequency in response to detecting that the receiver is out of range of the on-site system signal or in response to a signal transmitted by the on-site system in response to deletion of the receiver from the on-site registry or detection of the exit of the receiver from the on-site coverage area. The on-site system increases message throughput by interleaving data messages with voice messages. The messages broadcast for the selective call receiver by the wide area system are rebroadcast by the on-site system. The messages broadcast by the on-site system, if data messages, are provided to the wide area system for rebroadcast or, if voice messages are stored in a voice mailbox and a "voice message stored in mailbox" message is provided to the wide area system for transmission.

    • Provided herein are titanium alloys that can achieve a combination of high strength and high toughness or elongation, and a method to produce the alloys. By tolerating iron, oxygen, and other incidental elements and impurities, the alloys enable the use of lower quality scrap as raw materials. The alloys are castable and can form α-phase laths in a basketweave morphology by a commercially feasible heat treatment that does not require hot-working or rapid cooling rates. The alloys comprise, by weight, about 3.0% to about 6.0% aluminum, 0% to about 1.5% tin, about 2.0% to about 4.0% vanadium, about 0.5% to about 4.5% molybdenum, about 1.0% to about 2.5% chromium, about 0.20% to about 0.55% iron, 0% to about 0.35% oxygen, 0% to about 0.007% boron, and 0% to about 0.60% other incidental elements and impurities, the balance of weight percent comprising titanium.
