    • An expandable spinal implant assembly is configured to be inserted between two adjacent vertebral bodies. The expandable spinal implant assembly includes a substantially hollow first body with a first superior endplate with a first top inside face and a first inferior endplate with a first bottom inside face. The first superior endplate and the first inferior endplate are connected together by a lateral wall. At least one strut is arranged within said first body, connecting the first top inside face with the first bottom inside face, said strut including a first threaded through bore. The assembly further includes a substantially hollow second body with a second superior endplate and a second inferior endplate, said second body inserted within said first body. A central screw with a first end including a ball-head and a drive, said central screw further having a threaded shaft is engaged within said first threaded through bore.

    • Intervertebral implant (1) comprising (i) a first elongated implant member (20) with a longitudinal axis (221), an upper surface (222) and a lower surface (223) for apposition to the endplates of two adjacent vertebrae, and with a lateral circumferential surface (224) and (ii) a second elongated implant member (30) with a longitudinal axis (321), an upper surface (322) and a lower surface (323) for apposition to the same endplates and with a lateral circumferential surface (324). Said elongated implant members (20, 30) are rotatably coupled to a central body (10) for rotation in a central plane (101 essentially parallel to said upper and lower surfaces. Further, a) said first and second elongated implant members (20, 30) comprise each an inner end portion (225;325) which comprises a segment of a toothed wheel (220;320) with gear teeth (23;33) and with an axis of rotation (227;327) essentially orthogonal to the central plane of the intervertebral implant; and a free outer portion (226;326); and whereby said free outer portions (226;326) of said first and second elongated implant members (20, 30) are rotatable around the axis of rotation (227;327) of the segment of a toothed wheel (220;320) of their respective inner end portions (225;325).

    • The present application relates to a torque limiter (1) comprising a handle (2) with a mono-block cylindrical handle-body. The cylindrical handle-body includes a central through bore (3) having an axis (B) at a right angle to a longitudinal axis (A) of the cylindrical handle-body as well as a first pocket (4) and a second pocket (5). The first pocket (4) is arranged on a first side and the second pocket (5) is arranged on a second side of said cylindrical handle-body opposite of said first side. The first pocket (4) and the second pocket (5) are arranged along said longitudinal axis (A) and intersect each other in the area of said central through bore (3), each of said first pocket (4) and said second pocket (5) comprising at least one magnet (6a, 6b, 7a, 7b; 35). Further, the torque limiter (1) comprises a mono-block shaft (20) having a central shaft (21) removably arranged in said central through bore (3), said central shaft (21) having a drive (23) arranged at a first end. The central shaft (21) comprises at least one protrusion (25, 26; 27) arranged at a second end and being at a right angle to a central axis (22) of said central shaft (21), said at least one protrusion (25, 26; 27) being sized and shaped to be arranged within said first pocket (4) or said second pocket (5) and to magnetically interact with the at least one magnet (6a, 6b, 7a, 7b; 35) arranged in said first pocket (4) or said second pocket (5).
