    • An optical object positioning apparatus including an optical element, a light sensor and a processing unit and a positioning method thereof are provided. The optical element includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other and perpendicular to a first axis, and has at least two light-passing regions. Light beams from an object to be positioned pass through the light-passing regions from the first surface to the second surface. The light sensor and the optical element are spaced by a predetermined distance on a direction of the first axis. The light sensor senses the light beams from the light-passing regions to generate at least two light-sensing signals. A distance between the object and the optical element is positively correlated to the predetermined distance. The processing unit receives the light-sensing signals and positions the object according to the light-sensing signals and the predetermined distance.

    • A power adaptor is provided. The power adaptor includes a voltage converter, a connecting port, a first transformer and a controller. The voltage converter receives an input voltage and determines whether to convert the input voltage to an output voltage according to an indicating signal. The first transformer includes a primary side and a secondary side. The primary side and the secondary side are coupled to each other, and a first end and a second end of the secondary side are coupled to the connecting port, respectively. The controller generates the indicating signal according to a voltage at the primary side of the first transformer. The connecting port is used to connect to an electrical device, and when the connecting port is electrically connected to the electrical device, a first end and a second end of the secondary side are short to a reference ground end of the secondary side.

    • The present disclosure describes methods, systems, and computer program products for finding a best location scheme for a set of interactional objects in a constrained geographical area. A geographic region representing a wind farm is partitioned into a plurality of lattices. Initial chromosomes are generated, where a particular chromosome is a binary series used to represent the presence of a wind turbine in a layout of the plurality of lattices. A cost associated with each wind turbine associated with the initial chromosomes is evaluated. Parent chromosomes are selected for a genetic operation, and following the genetic operation, a cost associated with each wind turbine if evaluated. The parent chromosomes are updated using a fitness value.
