摘要： A mode change-over mechanism for a tape recording and/or reproducing apparatus wherein the operating mode is selected by depressing a selected one of a plurality of push-buttons. The mechanism includes a pair of operating gears and a pair of independently movable operating members. The operating gears are associated with selected ones of plural push-buttons through respective trigger members. Movement of the first operating member in response to depression of a push-button establishes one operating mode for the recorder/reproducer; movement of the second operating member in response to another push-button establishes a second mode; movement of both operating members responsive to a third push-button establishes another mode; and further modes are obtained by movement of the first operating member through plural paths.

摘要： In a tape recording and/or reproducing apparatus for use with a tape cassette containing a supply of tape and having an opening at one side of the cassette housing along which a run of the tape is normally guided, and lids mounted on the housing for movement between closed positions for covering respective parts of the tape run and opened positions where the lids are displaced from the opening to permit the withdrawal of the tape therethrough: magnetic heads or transducers are mounted on a chassis so as to be spaced from the open side of a cassette housing when the latter is operatively positioned in respect to the chassis; tape withdrawing members are engageable with the tape run in the operatively positioned cassette housing and are operative to withdraw the tape through the open side and into engagement with the transducers; and a cassette loading device includes a cassette holder movable between an inoperative position for the insertion and removal of a cassette in the holder and an operative position where a cassette in the holder is operatively positioned, and lid opening members mechanically coupled with the holder to move between inactive positions avoiding interference with insertion and removal of a cassette in the holder in its inoperative position, and active positions in which the lid opening members open the lids of an operatively positioned cassette in response to movement of the holder to its operative position.

摘要： A disk recording and reproducing apparatus which realizes a simultaneous monitoring function with a recording function with a simple pickup system is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a recording and reproducing head, a first memory for receiving and storing input signals at a first rate and supplying the stored signals at a second rate higher than the first rate so as to be recorded onto the disk medium at the second rate by means of the recording and reproducing head, a second memory for receiving and storing signals reproduced at the second rate by means of the recording and reproducing head and outputting the stored signals at a rate lower than the second rate, and a controller for controlling the recording and reproducing head to relatively scan a same portion of the disk medium twice for a predetermined period of time so that recording and reproduction occur alternately and successively at the portion of the disk medium for each predetermined number of blocks.

摘要： A random access system for recording and/or reproducing apparatus of the type used for recording information on and/or reproducing information from addressable portions of a record medium. The random access system is capable of recording address signals on the medium adjacent corresponding addressable portions and of playing back address signals from the medium so as to access any addressable portion thereof to reproduce information therefrom. The address signals are constituted by a variable number of address pulses plus a constant number of pulses. The random access system includes a counter for counting pulses which are applied thereto so as to derive a count corresponding to an address. A detector detects the constant number of pulses included in an address signal and supplies only the variable number of address pulses to the counter. A selector is operable to select any one of predetermined addresses, and a comparator compares the count derived by the counter to the address selected by the selector to produce a coincidence signal when the count is equal to the selected address. In a recording mode, an oscillator generates a substantially continuous train of pulse signals which are supplied through the detector to the counter. A record control circuit is operable to initiate an address recording operation for transmitting the train of pulses to the counter, and is responsive to the coincidence signal to terminate this address recording operation. In a playback mode, the recorded address signals are supplied through the detector to the counter. A sensing circuit is provided to sense the end of the played back address signal and to actuate a control signal generator which is responsive to the coincidence signal for generating a control signal which is adapted to initiate a predetermined operation of the recording and/or reproducing apparatus.
