    • Systems and methods for automatically converting digital content from an incompatible to a compatible target DRM scheme are disclosed. In one embodiment, a user device transmits a request to a content server for digital content, the request including a target DRM scheme compatible with the user device. The content server determines that the requested target DRM scheme is incompatible with the native DRM scheme of the content server. A DRM matching server obtains the requested content from the content server and converts the content from the native DRM scheme to the target DRM scheme. The DRM matching server transmits the reformatted content to the user's device. Alternatively, the DRM matching server transmits the reformatted content to the content server, which transmits it to the user device. A user device includes any device capable of utilizing digital content, including cellular telephones, PDAs, audio file players, and video content display devices.

    • A system, method, and wireless communication device that provide a mobile user with selective access to information based on a predefined trigger such as a user's vicinity. In an embodiment, selected information from a first wireless communication device of a communication group may be associated with a geographic location and stored. A portion of the information may be selectively transmitted to a second wireless communication device of the communication group when the second wireless communication device is determined to be proximate to the geographic location associated with the information. In one embodiment, the second wireless communication device may receive the information automatically based on trigger settings.

    • An application development system comprises a test-enable authority configured to store test-enable software for a plurality of mobile communication devices. In order to develop new applications, e.g. BREW applications, for a mobile communication device, the mobile communication device should be “test-enabled.” Mobile communication devices can be test-enabled using test-enable software that can, for example, be downloaded from the test-enable authority by a software developer. In one aspect, the test-enable software can install on the developer's computer, run a predetermined number of times and then uninstall. This allows communication device manufacturers to control the number of test-enabled communication devices in the market. In addition, this can save time, money, and effort for communication device manufacturers as well as developers.
