    • A dual beam assembly is provided for attachment to a chromatic confocal point sensor optical pen. The optical pen provides a single source beam having a measurement range R in the absence of the dual beam assembly. The dual beam assembly includes a first reflective element that is positioned in the source beam and divides it into a first measurement beam and a second measurement beam. The dual beam assembly outputs the first and second measurement beams along first and second measurement axes to different workpiece regions and returns workpiece measurement light arising from the first and second measurement beams back to the optical pen. A second reflective element may be included and configured to deflect the second measurement beam along a desired direction. An offset may be provided between the measuring ranges of the first and second measurement beams.

    • A robot claw includes a base seat, more than one elastic assemblies, and at least two first clamping assemblies. The base seat includes a first fastening surface and a second fastening surface opposite to the first fastening surface. Each first clamping assembly includes a sliding unit fastened to the first fastening surface of the base seat and a clamping member fastened to the sliding unit. The sliding unit includes a guide rail. Two elastic assemblies are loaded at two opposite ends of each guide rail; when each of the clamping member slides to one end thereof, one elastic assembly elastically resists with an air cylinder to drive the air cylinder with the clamping member to slide towards the other end of the guide rail of the sliding unit.

    • A method for network logout for a mobile station (MS) in IDLE mode. The method includes performing network logout upon the MS by a network side, releasing the resources associated with the MS and deleting the context of the MS. MS location update procedures, conducted by the network side, in various situations enables the paging controller or other network entity to delete the context of the MS and also provides network logout processing in the scenarios when the network resources are in congestion, the location update of the network side times out and the network side varies with the service policy.

    • A method for paging an idle MS includes: a PC sends a Paging Announce message to the BS, starts a timer and sets a paging count threshold; the BS pages the MS; if no paging response is received from the MS before expiry of the timer, the PC compares the number of times of paging with the set paging count threshold, and re-sends the Paging Announce message or cancels the paging operation, according to the comparison result. A method for stopping paging to an idle MS includes: a BS in a PG pages an MS, and a network side sends a paging stop message to at least one other BS; and at least one other BS stops the paging process. A paging includes a central processing unit for setting a paging count threshold and judging whether a paging response is received.
