    • A UV sterilization device for a board-type kitchenware includes a base with a driving member being received therein and defining a first motor, a left work-board, a right work-board, with a receiving room being formed between the left and right work-boards for receiving the board-type kitchenware therein, and a UV sterilization module connected to the first motor, longitudinally arranged on the inside of the left and right work-boards and horizontally sliding relative to the left and right work-boards. The first motor is configured to drive the UV sterilization module to slide so as to sterilize the board-type kitchenware received in the receiving room. The present structure not only can have a good disinfection and bactericidal effect on the harmful bacteria, pathogenic bacteria and molds left on the kitchenware with a minimize disinfection time, but also can reciprocate sterilization of the board-type kitchenware to achieve all-round sterilization by simple operation.

    • In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention an improved equalization system for DMT based modem receiver is provided. It includes a time domain equalizer for processing samples from an analog front end and includes a device for computing differences of time domain samples for every frame and the results are saved. An FFT is provided for calculating a first FFT and the results are saved in a FFT buffer so that at each DMT frame, after a difference and FFT operation, the FFT buffer contains the first FFT and v−1 time domain sample differences. A sliding FFT for each tone reads the first FFT result and v−1 FFTs and recursively computes the rest of v−1 FFTs for the particular tone. An equalizer is responsive to the computed sliding FFT for recursively computes equalizer outputs.

In one method embodiment, the present invention partitions a portion of the character data into a first group of character data strings based on a fixed byte-width property of the character data strings. The present invention includes a free running clock (205) as the sampling clock for the A/D (110) and D/A (115) converters, and interpolators (210, 220, 615 and 635) to correct timing errors for both the receive and transmit samples. The desired sample can be obtained based on its timing offset and its neighboring samples.

The alignment offset determination may include: forming a data field of four measured symbols around the detected phase difference; searching for the position of a two-symbol window in the data field that maximizes a phase difference; and calculating the alignment offset from this position.

    • A DMT modem (40) is disclosed, in which a combined time domain equalizer and per-tone equalizer is applied to a received DMT signal. The combined equalizer includes a first FFT function (44) that is applied to a set of samples in a time-domain signal after the application of a time domain equalizer (42). The first FFT function (44) produces an initial FFT result, that is accumulated with a sliding FFT (46) performed upon difference values in the time domain samples. The sliding FFT results are applied to a per-ton equalizer (48) which applies a set of complex coefficients determined in training of the modem. A simple 1-tap FEQ (50) then can recover the signal. The combined equalizer enables per-tone equalization, in a manner that is compatible with conventional DSL training standards. According to a second embodiment, the per-tone equalization is performed only on selected tones of the multitone signal.
