摘要： A windscreen wiper device of the flat blade type includes an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an extruded elongated wiper blade of a flexible material, which wiper blade includes a central longitudinal groove, in which groove a longitudinal strip of the carrier element is disposed. The groove extends in downward direction beneath the longitudinal strip for forming a longitudinal hollow channel defined by the longitudinal strip and a bottom of the groove. The height of the hollow channel at the location of a middle longitudinal plane of the wiper blade perpendicular to the windscreen to be wiped is defined by: 1/40 W≦H≦⅕ W, wherein W is a width of the longitudinal strip, and wherein H is a height of the hollow channel at the location of a middle longitudinal plane of the wiper blade perpendicular to the windscreen to be wiped.

Neighboring ends of the longitudinal are interconnected by a respective connecting piece. Also included is a connecting device for an oscillating wiper arm. The connecting piece comprises engaging members engaging around the longitudinal strips, wherein the strips and the connecting piece are slidably connected by means of a snap connection. At least one pin extending in a direction perpendicular to the windscreen to be wiped engages the wiper blade at a location of a hole in one of the longitudinal strips. The pin is arranged to block a longitudinal movement of the wiper blade relative to the strip in a longitudinal direction thereof away from the connecting piece.

摘要： A windscreen wiper arm, particularly for automobiles, has a mounting head mountable on a drive shaft and an arm member pivotally connected to the mounting head by means of a pivot pin, wherein the arm member has a substantially U-shaped cross-section near the pivot pin comprising two side walls, wherein a part of the mounting head extends between the side walls and beyond the pivot pin, wherein the part is provided with opposite abutting surfaces for abutting against the side walls of the arm member; structure is provided on the mounting head and the arm member for limiting a pivot angle of the arm member, in the form of at least one guiding groove on one of the abutting surfaces of the part of the mounting head, as well as at least one outwardly extending finger on the arm member cooperating with the guiding groove. The finger is movable in the guiding groove between a first position corresponding with a wiping position of the arm member and a second position corresponding with a mounting position of the arm member. The finger extends outwardly from a base of the U-shaped cross-section of the arm member in a direction towards the drive shaft.
