    • A roller chain conveyor including detachable, snap-on, top-plate assemblies having spaced apart, guide plate members adaptable to overlap the outer ends of connecting pins, so as to avoid contact thereof with laterally disposed guide tracks, especially during operation of the conveyor along curvilinear paths of travel in which transverse forces act on the roller chain. The absorption of the transverse forces occurs over guide plates that overlap the roller chain conveyor. The assemblies include a plurality of resilient, spring-like tongue members disposed about each guide plate member, the tongue members having recesses formed therein to receive in holding engagement a portion of the circumferential surface of each of the connecting pins. This arrangement, whereby there is provided a distinct, rigid, separate guide plate member and a resiient spring-like tongue member, provides a simple device for attachment and removal of the snap-on top plate assemblies to and from the roller chain.

    • In accordance with aspects of the disclosure, a system and methods are provided for managing multi-system security integration by performing state change calls to one or more backend systems by combining a multi-system protection token with a message component for transporting from a user agent to the one or more backend systems for validation by generating an authentication code for proving authenticity of a combined data structure generated by combining a secret cryptographic data key with a portion of the message component and generating a hash code of the combined data structure, generating an arbitrary random number to bind the multi-system protection token to the user agent, and generating the multi-system protection token by combining the authentication code and the arbitrary random number with the message component for transporting from the user agent to the one or more backend systems for validation.

    • In a quick acting clamping device a pair of pressure levers are mounted in a cylindrical housing for displacement between an unclamped position and a clamped position. In the unclamped position the pressure levers extend obliquely to the cylindrical axis of the housing and in the clamped position they extend parallel to the cylindrical axis. Movement of the pressure levers between the clamped and unclamped positions is provided by mounting one end of each of the levers in a pressure piece. The pressure piece is located in a bore in a piston mounted in another bore within the cylindrical housing. The bore in which the piston is mounted extends transversely of the housing, while the bore in the piston extends in the direction of the cylindrical axis of the housing. The housing includes passageways for introducing pressurized hydraulic fluid into the opposite ends of the bore containing the piston.

    • The present invention relates to a side bow conveyor chain whose respective chain links are interconnected by a chain hinge which is adapted to be pivoted about a first and a second axis, said chain hinge comprising a pivot bolt which is arranged along said first axis, a pivot pin which is arranged along said second axis and through which the pivot bolt extends, and a reception sleeve, which extends along the second axis and in which the pivot pin is pivotable relative to the reception sleeve about said second axis. The reception sleeve is provided with lateral pivot openings which allow the pivot bolt to pass through. The stability of such a chain is improved by the features that inner and outer chain links are provided in alternating succession, that an inner chain link comprises a reception sleeve on either end thereof and at least one inner link plate interconnecting said reception sleeves, that an outer chain link comprises a pivot bolt and a pivot pin on either end thereof and at least two outer link plates interconnecting the same, and that each of the end faces of the at least two outer link plates laterally encompasses a reception sleeve of a neighbouring inner chain link. The inner and outer link plates, which are arranged such that they are set up on edge, extend vertically to the first axis when the chain moves straight ahead.
