摘要： A computer-implemented method is provided for implementing wind correction for a projectile launching gun aiming at a target on a gun fire control system on an aircraft. The fire control method includes obtaining first physical parameters; executing a ballistics model to obtain a flight path of the projectile; obtaining number of points for wind direction and velocity across altitudes; executing a tracker model to obtain tracker location and initial gun state; obtaining closure tolerance and cross-correlation factor; modeling wind prediction to obtain a predicted wind column; incorporating the predicted wind column for wind column prediction for a projectile effect; and applying the projectile effect to the fire-control processor to adjust aiming the gun. The first physical parameters include wind column, gun state, ammunition type and aircraft flight conditions. The ballistics model obtains a flight path of the projectile based on the first physical parameters. The tracker model is based on the number of points and the flight path. The wind prediction is based on the closure tolerance, the cross-correlation factor, the tracker location and the initial gun state. The wind direction and velocity are obtained from multiple measurements or alternatively from a single-point measurement.

摘要： A method and system for improved driver reward display functionality. A driver reward is calculated based on inputs, such as freight fuel, fuel economy, and % idle. The driver reward system configures and displays a primary driver reward image for various menu selections. The primary driver reward image is configured to indicate whether the driver reward is at full penalty, partial penalty, neutral, partial bonus, or full bonus. The image is displayed in one color if above an expected value and another color if below the expected level. Images that indicate to the operator of the vehicle the impact of each input on the overall driver reward or whether each input is improving or worsening may be displayed. A secondary driver reward image may also be displayed to indicate a specific bonus or penalty in miles per hour and speed limit.

The interface may be implemented utilizing a touch screen interface on which a user engages the interface, is provided feedback, and removes the user's touch to enter a character. The interface presents a series of main, supplemental and modifier keys. Touching an interface button or main key presents a series of “petals” or supplemental keys emanating from the main key. Each petal or sub-petal may represent another character or a modifier action.
