摘要： Disclosed are a method and apparatus for embedding or detecting watermarks in a text, which belong to the field of document protection. The method and apparatus overlay an additional layer of shade in a document for recording a large amount of information from watermarks. The shade comprises the dots arranged under certain rules. Shifts of the dots record each bit string within the watermark. According to the method and apparatus, a large amount of information can be embedded and the watermarks embedded in the shade are dispersed together with the document which can be digitized by a scanner for being detected.

摘要： The application provides a method for partitioning a watermark image with western language characters, comprising: partitioning a western language characters image along rows and columns to form a plurality of character image blocks; identifying valid character image blocks from the formed character image blocks; counting sizes of the valid character image blocks to determine if the image corresponds to a document with a large font size or a document with a small font size; dividing words in the image into a plurality of groups, wherein each divided group in the document with large font size has different numbers of words from that with small font size; and dividing equally the divided word groups into multiple portions corresponding to watermark image blocks. The application further provides a device for partitioning a watermark image with western language characters. The operability of watermark embedding process can be ensured through the above technical solution.

摘要： This invention relates to a method for preventing a copy of document, belonging to a technical field of entire copy protection of document. In the prior art, for some important documents, specially the secret ones, the reproduction of this kind of document is usually prohibited by its owner because of the security. But the technique in the prior art can not solve the problem of preventing unauthorized reproduction. The method of the present invention is intended to embed a shading pattern under the original image of anti-copy document by an application program installed in the copy device, and decide whether the document can be copied legally or not. By the method of present invention, it is possible to detect the watermark information of the anti-copy document accurately and quickly, and prevent the reproduction of the anti-copy document thoroughly. Moreover, an additional memory space is no need.
