摘要： A coupling for two tubing ends which tubing ends are equipped with radial end flanges either in the form of radial beads in the tubing or in the form of radial flanges of ferrules that are swaged to the tubing ends. The coupling per se is of conventional construction wherein an annular retainer structure straddles the radial end flanges of the confronting tubing ends for the purpose of mechanically interconnecting the confronting tubing ends. The invention adds an elongated leaf spring conductor of undulating configuration which is enclosed by the annular retainer structure and serves as an electrical bridge between the two radial end flanges of the two tubing ends.

摘要： A vented tank has a receptacle fitting at its fill port that mates with a nozzle on the end of a supply hose. Both the receptacle fitting and the nozzle have normally closed valves which open in response to mating of the two parts. The nozzle fitting is equipped with a normally closed snap acting valve which is cocked open during the filling operation and snaps closed in response to abrupt rise in back pressure. During the filling operation a tank vent is open but closes in response to rise in the liquid level and thereby creates the back pressure. The tank vent also closes automatically if the tank is turned over.

摘要： A detachable coupling device for joining pipe and tubing members in end-to-end relation and providing an hermetic seal, comprising an axially contractible two-part coupling structure in which the parts are rotatably united by screw thread means and are operable to compress enclosed O-ring sealing members with respect to the connected tubing. Tightening of the coupling parts is readily accomplished, but untightening and particularly accidental loosening is restrained by unique releasable detent means in which spring fingers carried by one of the coupling parts engage indentations or notches on the other coupling part in such a manner as to favor relative rotation of the parts in one direction while restraining with greater force the rotation of the parts in the opposite direction.
