    • In embodiments of the present invention, systems and methods for organizing content for media services may comprise organizing content from a plurality of data sources having information relevant to a channel, transforming the content into short messages suitable for delivery to a user via at least two of SMS, MMS, WAP, e-mail, and the Internet, and managing a script of such messages, wherein the next short message in a series is based on a user response to a prior short message in the series. User engagement may be facilitated by developing locally produced, personalized channels for delivery of relevant content. The mobile platform may enable building mobile-oriented communities around original content. Content may be local, authentic, relevant, insider, original, aggregated, a multi-modal mash-up, and the like.

    • The invention relates to a method for measuring Hum on a digital QAM carrier using a testing device for testing digital TV signals including a QAM demodulator therein, and to a testing device implementing the method. A controller is used to sample a register associated with a final AGC stage in a QAM demodulator, and to process the collected register values to obtain one or more Hum characteristics. In one embodiment, a circular buffer is used to collect aligned sequences of AGC samples that have a pre-determined feature of time-domain Hum at a specified position therein. The aligned AGC sequences are then correlated to assess causes of Hum.

    • A system for handling data of a process with a primary controller and a redundant controller. The primary controller includes a primary processor that is operable to perform tracking data tasks by using a low speed bus to cooperate with a tracker controller for storage of tracking data in a tracker memory. The primary processor is further operable to perform other tasks by using a high speed bus in cooperation with a primary memory. The second bus has an operating rate considerably higher (for example, by a factor of two or more) than that of the first bus. The primary controller provides tracking data items that each comprise a current data and a current address. The tracker controller accesses the tracking memory using the current address to read a stored data and write the current data. If the current data differs from the stored data, the current tracking data item is written to a buffer. The tracking controller generates an interrupt when the buffer contains a predetermined number of tracking data items.
