摘要： A method for assisting a driver of a vehicle in a driving maneuver in which the vehicle is guided automatically along a previously calculated trajectory, or the lateral guidance for travel along the trajectory is carried out automatically, and after the driving maneuver is completed, the steering of the vehicle is returned to the driver, information being provided to the driver concerning the vehicle's surroundings and suitable steering settings before and/or during the transfer of the steering to the driver. Also described is a device for carrying out the method, including a steering arrangement for steering the vehicle along a previously calculated trajectory as well as an output arrangement for outputting information concerning the vehicle's surroundings and suitable steering settings to the driver before and/or during the transfer of the steering to the driver.

摘要： A method is described for assisting a driver of a motor vehicle in which the surroundings laterally next to the motor vehicle, in order to detect a parking space. When a parking space is detected, a trajectory is determined, along which the motor vehicle is able to park in the parking space. During the parking, the surroundings of the motor vehicle are monitored.Upon detection of a specified situation, the parking space readout is stopped for a specified distance, the parking process is aborted or a warning is issued to the driver. Also described is a device for implementing the method.

The transducer and the object move relative to each other. The emission and/or the recording are carried out according to a directional characteristic of the transducer, which has at least two directional lobes. Signal components of the reflected pulse, which have different frequency shifts, are separated from one another on the basis of the frequency shift or are assigned to respectively one of the directional lobes. An object detection is carried out in each case for the different signal components and the assigned directional lobes.
