摘要： The present invention provides an inexpensive system capable of charging up electronic money cards by using a credit card.A credit card 8 is an IC card, and a PIN is authenticated between a card terminal 3 and the credit card 8. The card terminal 3 transmits to a credit company server 4 an authentication result, amount information indicating an amount with which to charge up, and a credit card number of the credit card 8. After billing, the credit company server 4 transmits the amount information and the credit card number to an electronic money server 5. The electronic money server 5 identifies an electronic money card 9 based on the credit card number. The electronic money server 5 generates amount change information for adding the amount with which to charge up to “VALUE”, and transmits it to the card terminal 3. Based on the amount change information, the electronic money card 9 updates the amount of “VALUE” stored therein to an amount specified by the amount change information.

摘要： An electronic money system is provided which requires lower management and running cost, and features higher flexibility. An acquirer/brand holder managing an electronic money brand manages all keys used for authentication processing in the system, and issues the keys as necessary. The acquirer/brand holder distributes keys according to a tie-up agreement to IC card issuers, a POS center, an MMK center, and an affiliate merchant terminal unit. The POS center, the MMK center, and the affiliate merchant terminal unit are apparatuses for users to use the IC cards or for managing them. The acquirer/brand holder, however, does not distribute issued keys to cybershops which users can access by using a personal computer and a reader/writer. Instead, in this case the acquirer/brand holder saves the issued key itself, and carries out authentication processing with a predetermined IC card upon a request from the cybershop.

摘要： The present invention is relative to a system enabling a through operation between a mileage system and an electronic money system. The mileage system is such a system in which mile points as distance points corresponding to the flight distance of an aircraft are accumulated and exchanged for boarding tickets and other services. An IC card (230) having stored a wallet number in it is used. The wallet number and a mileage number are managed in a correlated fashion. Responsively to a request from a user, reference is made to an electronic money value ledger (222), matched to the wallet number, while reference is also made to a mile point ledger (122), matched to the mileage number. A preset number of the mile points are changed over to an electronic money value and, depending on changed-over results, the electronic money value ledger is subjected to integration processing, while the mile point ledger is subjected to deduction processing.

摘要： A system capable of charging up electronic money cards using a credit card is provided. A PIN is authenticated between a card terminal and the credit card.
