    • A room temperature curable organopolysiloxane composition is provided. This composition comprises (A) a diorganopolysiloxane endcapped at both ends of the molecular chain with hydroxy group represented by the following formula: HO—(R2SiO)n—H wherein R represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group, and n represents an integer of at least 10, (B) an organopolysiloxane comprising R13SiO1/2 unit, R12SiO2/2 unit, and R1SiO3/2 unit wherein R1 represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group, and SiO4/2 unit with the proviso that molar ratio of R13SiO1/2 unit to SiO4/2 unit is in the range of 0.6 to 1.2, molar ratio of R12SiO2/2 unit to SiO4/2 unit and molar ratio of R1SiO3/2 unit to SiO4/2 unit are both in the range of 0 to 1.0, and content of the silanol group is less than 1.5% by weight, (C) surface treated fumed silica, (D) a silane and/or its hydrolysate containing at least two hydrolyzable groups in the molecule, and (E) a curing catalyst.

    • A room temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition is provided. The composition comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a organopolysiloxane represented by the following general formula (1): wherein R is a monovalent hydrocarbon group containing 1 to 5 carbon atoms, R1 is independently a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms; n is an integer of at least 10; X is oxygen atom or an alkylene group containing 2 to 5 carbon atoms, and m is independently an integer of 0 or 1; or a mixture of such organopolysiloxane; (B) 50 to 150 parts by weight of a colloidal calcium carbonate having a specific surface area measured by BET method of at least 10 m2/g; (C) 100 to 200 parts by weight of a heavy calcium carbonate having a specific surface area measured by BET method of up to 8 m2/g; (D) 1 to 25 parts by weight of an organosilicon compound having at least 3 hydrolyzable groups bonded to silicon atom in one molecule represented by R2aSi(OR3)4-a wherein R2 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group containing 1 to 12 carbon atoms, R3 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group containing 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and a is 0 or 1; or its partial hydrolysate; and (E) 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of a curing catalyst. The mass ratio of the component (B) to the component (C) is less than 1.

    • A room temperature-curable polyorganosiloxane composition is provided. The composition comprises(A) 100 parts by weight of a polyorganosiloxane represented by the following general formula (1): wherein R is a monovalent hydrocarbon group containing 1 to 5 carbon atoms, R1 is independently a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms; n is an integer of at least 10; X is oxygen atom or an alkylene group containing 2 to 5 carbon atoms, and m is independently an integer of 0 or 1; or a mixture of such polyorganosiloxane,(B) 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of a partial hydrolysate of an organosilicon compound having at least 3 hydrolyzable groups bonded to silicon atom in one molecule;(C) 1 to 500 parts by weight of at least one filler,(D) 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of a curing catalyst, and(E) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a silane coupling agent.The present invention is capable of forming a rubber elastomer which exhibits excellent adhesion to resins whose adhesion has been difficult, for example, polyimide resin.
