摘要： A cleaning unit, which is included in a process cartridge or an image forming apparatus, includes a brush rotary body to remove toner, a toner collecting rotary body to collect the toner, a toner collecting blade to scrape the toner, and a cleaning blade to scrape the toner falling from the brush rotary body. The image carrier, the brush rotary body, and the toner collecting rotary body rotate in the same direction. The cleaning blade, the brush rotary body, and the toner collecting rotary body are located to cause a tangential line passing through a contact area of the brush rotary body and the toner collecting rotary body on an outer peripheral circle around a shaft of the brush rotary body to have an intersection point intersecting a non-contact surface of the cleaning blade disposed opposite to a contact portion of the cleaning blade with the image carrier.

The agitator further has a trajectory being formed between the opening and the toner conveying rotary body by movement of the free end. Alternatively, the free end of the agitator is disposed facing the flicker.

摘要： A wiring glass substrate includes a glass substrate formed of glass and having a plurality of holes formed at predetermined positions, bumps so formed as to be connected to a conductive material filling the holes and wirings formed on a surface opposite to a surface having the bumps formed thereon and electrically connecting a plurality of connection terminals arranged in intervals different from intervals of the holes to the conductive material. The shape of the conductive material is porous and porous electrodes are bonded to the inner wall surfaces of the holes by an anchor effect to increase the strength of the glass substrate.

摘要： An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes an apparatus body to which a conveying unit is removably mounted. A belt is used to convey a paper sheet. A sensor includes a light emitting portion for emitting light toward the belt and a photosensitive portion to which the light from the belt is incident. One of the light emitting portion and photosensitive portion is mounted on the conveying unit while the other is mounted on the apparatus body. A positioning device causes, in interlocked relation to the mounting operation of the conveying unit to the apparatus body, the optical portion mounted on the apparatus body to move in accordance with the position and/or the configuration of the conveying unit and be positioned relative to the belt. Therefore, only the conveying unit and optical portion should be positioned relative to each other.

摘要： A machining device has a base and a fixture. The base is fixedly attached to a pallet or a machining table. The fixture is mounted on the base, contacting the base only at projecting contact surfaces which project above the mounting surface of the base. Cleaning of the base before a fixture is attached is done efficiently because only the minimized projecting contact surfaces area between the base and the fixture needs to be cleaned to permit stable contact between the base and fixture. The base and fixture also include projections and holes for precisely aligning the base and fixture with respect to each other.
