摘要： A resin composition for a composite-type vibration-damping material which comprises a saturated copolyester having a weight average molecular weight of at least 10,000 and a softening point of 50.degree. to 150.degree. C. and a polyfunctional isocyanate compound as a cross-linking agent and which, when cross-linked, has a degree of gelation (degree of cross-linking) of at least 10% and a composite-type vibration-damping material produced by use of the resin composition, have excellent adhesive strength and formability.When the resin composition is admixed with a conductive substance, a vibration-damping material produced by use of the admixture has excellent spot-weldability in addition to the above-mentioned excellent properties.

摘要： A coated steel plate suitable for bonding with a polyamide adhesive comprising a steel plate having coated thereon (a) a composition comprising a thermosetting phenol resin and a bisphenol A type epoxy resin, the thermosetting phenol resin comprising the condensation product obtained on reacting under refluxing a phenol and formaldehyde in less than one mol per equivalent of the phenolic hydroxyl group in the presence of an alkali catalyst; (b) a composition comprising a thermosetting phenol resin and a bisphenol A type epoxy resin, the thermosetting phenol resin comprising the condensation product obtained by washing with water the condensation product obtained by reacting under refluxing a phenol and formaldehyde in less than one mol per equivalent of the phenolic hydroxyl group in the presence of an alkali catalyst and then heating the condensation product to temperatures above about 60.degree. C; (c) a composition comprising a thermosetting phenol resin and a bisphenol A type epoxy resin, the thermosetting phenol resin comprising the condensation product obtained by washing with water a condensation product obtained by reacting a phenol and formaldehyde in an amount more than about one mol per equivalent of the phenolic hydroxyl group under refluxing in the presence of an alkali catalyst and, then, further heating the condensation product to a temperature higher than about 60.degree. C with the addition of a phenol in an amount such that the total amount of the phenolic hydroxyl group is greater than one equivalent per mol of formaldehyde; or (d) mixtures thereof.

摘要： The present invention is to provide for a process for producing 3-chloromethyl-3-alkyloxetanes from a 1,1-bis(chloromethyl)-1-hydroxymethylalkane or its carboxylate ester through a dehydrogen chloride reaction or a deacid chloride reaction in an aqueous solution or suspension of an alkaline compound. The reaction is conducted, either in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst or an anion exchange resin having an ammonium group, or, while distilling the formed 3-chloromethyl-3-alkyloxetane out azeotropically with water. The invention enables one to produce 3-chloromethyl-3-alkyloxetanes within a shorter period of time and with a higher yield, and thus the process is much advantageous and useful from the industrial points of view.
