    • A torque fluctuation absorber includes a first rotary member formed into an annular shape and including a first protruding portion formed at an inner circumferential surface, a second rotary member connected to the first rotary member, a third rotary member including a second protruding portion formed at an outer circumferential surface, a damper portion absorbing torque fluctuations caused by torsion generated between the second rotary member and the third rotary member, and an elastic member arranged between the first protruding portion and the second protruding portion and absorbing a shock generated when the first protruding portion directly makes contact with the second protruding portion when the damper portion absorbs the torque fluctuations caused by the torsion generated between the second rotary member and the third rotary member.

    • A torque fluctuation absorbing apparatus for absorbing a torque fluctuation generated between an engine and a transmission includes a damper portion having a first plate member, a second plate member and a plurality of coil springs. The second plate member includes a first plate portion and a second plate portion to interpose therebetween the first plate member. The plurality of coil springs is provided between the first and second plate members. The plurality of coil springs is arranged to compress when the first and second plate members move relative to each other thereby absorbing a torque fluctuation generated by a difference between a rotation of the first plate member and a rotation of the second plate member.     • A torque fluctuation absorber includes a seating member having a pivoting portion at an inner portion in a radial direction and a supporting portion, which rotationally supports the pivoting portion, at an end surface in a circumferential direction of a first and a second opening portion. When no relative rotational torsion existing between a first and a second rotational member, the pivoting portion is in contact with the supporting portion and a clearance is defined between a portion on each seating member positioned outwardly in a radial direction relative to the pivoting portion and a portion of the first and the second opening portion positioned outwardly in a radial direction relative to the supporting portion.
