    • A casing of an electronic device is proposed, which includes a first casing member having at least an expansion interface slot for being connected with an expansion device, and an opening corresponding to the expansion interface slot; a second casing member covering the first casing member and having a gap corresponding to the expansion interface slot; and a detachable covering member capable of being detachably assembled to the gap of the second casing member, wherein the gap can reduce the fall of level between the casing members and avoid an opening of an expansion interface slot being obstructed due to a downward oblique configuration of the casing, allowing the expansion interface slot of the first casing member to functions normally and avoiding dust from entering into the expansion interface slot, thereby improving the connection and signal transmission quality.

    • Disclosed is an engagement/disengagement mechanism provided on a peripheral allowing the peripheral to be engaged with and disengaged from a notebook computer effortlessly without the need of extra tools. To attach the peripheral to the back of the notebook computer, the user needs just to align the connector and hooks on the peripheral with the counterpart connector and opening on the back of the notebook computer, and then push forcibly the peripheral against the back of the notebook computer. To detach the peripheral from the notebook computer, the user needs just to push the presser down and then pull the peripheral backwards to make the detachment. It is this simple to make the engagement and disengagement between the peripheral and the notebook computer.

    • A press-type latch device for establishing latched and unlatched states with a hook includes: a press member having a press portion and connection portions extending from the press portion; and a spring member having a bottom portion and first and second latch arms extending from the bottom portion. A latch space is formed between the first and second latch arms to allow the hook to enter into the latch space and engage with at least one of the latch arms. The spring member has insertion holes formed on the first latch arm to allow the connection portions to pass through and abut against the second latch arm, when pressing the press portion, the second latch arm is pushed away from the first latch arm by the abutting connection portions, thereby unlatching the hook from the latch space.
