摘要： Three specific problems or needs related to deployment of fiber optic repeater distributed antenna systems are addressed by providing a particularly configured enclosure or cabinet adapted to protect repeaters from vandalism, enclose power components directly below the repeaters, and provide uninhibited ventilation. The cabinet includes a first cabinet portion partially enclosing a first chamber in which the repeater is receivable, a second cabinet portion at least partially enclosing a second chamber in which the power source components are receivable, and a door mounted to the first cabinet portion so as to be movable between a closed position, in which access to the first chamber is prevented, and an open position, providing access to the first chamber. A locking mechanism by which the door can be securely retained in the closed position includes a handle which is redundantly securable in an inoperative position, thereby preventing locking mechanism operation and precluding access to the first chamber.

摘要： An adapter connects to a mechanical interface of valve on one side of the adapter and connects to an actuator mechanical interface of a valve actuator on another side of the adapter. A transmission element in the housing of the adapter transmits an actuator force developed by the valve actuator to the valve via the valve mechanical interface. The valve mechanical interface on the adapter fluidically seals to a leaking portion of the valve. Consequently, in a system in which a valve is leaking, rather than replacing or repairing the valve, the adapter may simply be interposed between the valve and the valve actuator.

摘要： The invention is directed to a midsole for a shoe including one or more foam columns disposed between an upper and a lower plate. One or more elastomeric foam elements are disposed between the upper and lower plates. The foam elements are made of a material such as microcellular polyurethane-elastomer based on a polyester-alcohol and naphthalene-diisocyanate (NDI). In one embodiment, the foam, elements have the shape of hollow cylindrical columns, and may include grooves formed on the exterior surface. One or more elastic rings are disposed about the columns and are removably disposable in the grooves, allowing the stiffness of the columns to be adjusted. In a further embodiment, inflatable gas bladders are disposed in the hollow regions. The heights of the gas bladders may be less than the heights of the columns such that when the midsole is compressed, the wearer experiences a first stiffness corresponding to compression of the columns alone, and a second stiffness corresponding to compression of both the columns and the bladders. Alternatively, the bladders may be inflated so as to cause the columns to be stretched, even when no load is applied. Since the level of inflation of the bladders may be adjusted, the overall stiffness of the midsole may be tuned to the individual requirements of the wearer.
