摘要： An ostomy output diversion device is used to cover and seal closely around a patient's stoma, to divert stoma effluent output through the device, through a drain tube and into a container or reservoir, temporarily eliminating the need of an adhesive-based ostomy pouching system. The ostomy output diversion device is placed over the person's stoma, with the base ring surrounding the peristomal skin, the adjustable inner tube is retracted until the base ring is centered over the stoma, the body support strap is then placed over the device to secure it to the patient's body, the inner tube with stoma-sized adapter is then extended over the stoma, the patient applies the desired pressure against the skin, then secures the stoma-sized adapter in place with the pressure adjustment lock. The device may also include an ostomy pouch mounting ring for attachment to an ostomy pouch, and a disposable receptacle.

摘要： An ostomy pouch replacement device is provided to allow ostomates with a surgically created stoma to collect, contain and dispose of bodily fluids during frequent hygienic maintenance. The device is customizable to each ostomate's unique stoma diameter and provides a disposable waste receptacle designed to have a hollow absorbent section and a solid absorbent section for sanitary, discreet and odorless disposal of both urine and excrement. The device preferably consists of a disposable waste receptacle that may be positioned over the stoma and further includes an absorbent inner material for capturing any waste that may be discharged, a push cap for pressing the absorbent material to the stoma, a cap or plug for sealing the device after use, and a collar stand for pressing an adhesive wafer to the skin and for holding the assembled device in an upright position.

In one embodiment, the package comprises a container body having a cavity for containing a pressurized material to be applied to the body, the container body having an outer surface. An applicator is positioned adjacent the outer surface and is configured to dispense pressurized material. A cap is captively engaged with the container body, the cap being movable over the outer surface between a closed position in which the applicator is substantially shielded and an open position in which the applicator is substantially exposed. In another embodiment, the container body includes a body facing edge and a recessed surface bounded by the body facing edge, the recessed surface extending inwardly from the body facing edge. An applicator is configured to dispense the material and is positioned along the recessed surface.
