摘要： The disclosure relates to a transceiver operative to transmit and receive optical signals. The transceiver comprises a laser, a power splitter, a dual-polarization in-phase and quadrature modulator, DP-IQM, a first circulator (C1, C3), a second circulator (C2, C4), a first optical polarization controller, PC, a second optical polarization controller and a dual-polarization coherent receiver, DP-CRx. There is provided a system comprising a first transceiver and a second transceiver as described previously. The transceiver requires neither high speed DSP nor high resolution data converters to achieve 50 Gbaud DP-16 QAM, DP standing for dual polarization and QAM standing for quadrature amplitude modulation, yielding 400 Gb/s over 10 km below the 2.2×10−4 KP4 forward error correction (FEC) threshold.

摘要： In order to be able to eliminate a mechanical caliper, a bindery line has a plurality of signature feeders or packer boxes each of which is operable to feed a signature therefrom. A collating conveyor passes by each of the signature feeders or packer boxes along a signature conveying path so as to be operable to receive signatures from the signature feeders or packer boxes in collated form for forming a book. A book finishing section is downstream of the signature feeders or packer boxes for forming the book from the signatures received in collated order after the collating conveyor has passed by each of the signature feeders or packer boxes in travel along the signature conveying path. With this arrangement, the invention utilizes detectors for detecting a missing signature, an incorrect signature, a double signature, a conveyor jam, a hanging book, and a long book.

摘要： A method of searching encrypted files includes a client computing device selecting a specific keyword to search a plurality of encrypted files stored at a server computing device and if the specific keyword has not been previously used to search the plurality of encrypted files, the method further includes using an encrypted keyword index stored at the server computing device to identify one or more encrypted files of the plurality of encrypted files that contain the specific keyword based upon keyword-file relationships stored in the encrypted keyword index. The method also includes, storing the keyword-file relationship for each of the one or more encrypted files that are identified as containing the specific keyword in an encrypted dictionary at the server and during a subsequent search, if the specific keyword has previously been used to search the plurality of encrypted files, the method includes using the encrypted dictionary and the encrypted keyword index stored at the server to identify one or more encrypted files of the plurality of encrypted files that contain the specific keyword based upon the keyword-file relationships for the specific keyword previously stored in the encrypted dictionary.
