摘要： The present invention relates to a memory apparatus to be able to do write protection and aims to protect data in a specified area in a memory device not to be easily rewritten.When address signals A11 to A0 outputted from a microprocessor are written in the area 300 to 3FF, a CS signal from an address decoder for memory selection to a memory device is "enable" and it is possible to read from and write in the memory device. In the case in which the address signals are written in the area 3F0 to 3FF, the address decoder for write protection becomes "enable" and an output of an AND circuit is selected by a selector and is supplied to the memory device as a WE signal. If a write control signal is "enable", the WE signal outputted from the microprocessor is not masked by the AND circuit and it is possible to write in the memory device.

摘要： In the refreshing of the memory contents of the non-volatile memory device, a refreshing buffer memory is provided for temporarily storing a data signal of an address to be refreshed. Not only this data signal is stored in the refreshing buffer memory, but also the address of this data signal and the status of the refreshing processes, that is, up to which step of the refreshing routine the refreshing operation has proceeds, is stored in this refreshing buffer memory. Then, even when the power supply is shut off during the course of the refreshing action, at the next chance of the resumption of the power supply, the refreshing routine can correctly be started from the step at which the refreshing routine was previously terminated, thereby the refreshing operation can always be completed correctly.

摘要： A video signal processing apparatus includes an A/D converter for converting an analog video signal to a digital video signal. Also included is a 3-dimensional scanning line interpolating unit for outputting an original video signal and an interpolating signal which is synchronized with the original video signal and which includes interpolated scanning lines. A magnification processing unit and a switching signal generating unit are also provided. The switching signal generating unit is for generating a switching signal corresponding to a vertical magnifying power. Further, a switching unit is included for switching between the original video signal and the interpolated video signal according to the switching signal and for outputting the switched signal. The magnification processing unit includes a first field memory for storing the original video signal, a second field memory for storing the interpolating video signal, and a controller for programming the first and second field memories and for providing the programmed vertical magnifying power to a switching signal generating unit.

摘要： A video theater system includes a video cassette recording at least a component video signal to which a copy preventive scheme has been applied; a video cassette recorder for reproducing the video cassette; a tuner and an antenna for receiving a signal transmitted via a satellite; a controller device for controlling the video cassette recorder and the tuner; means for releasing the copy preventive scheme; and a projector for projecting a video image from which the copy preventive scheme has been released. The copy preventive scheme is applied, while at least a synchronizing signal is retained, to a protected video signal at a point between dubbing of the master tape to the distribution tape after a video conversion and the second video cassette recorder. This copy preventive scheme is released by means of a device and circuit following a video cassette recorder used to reproduce the video signal in readiness for the projection thereof onto a screen.
