摘要： In the present invention, image data is edited in response to a demand transmitted from a data-processing apparatus through a network. A moving-picture server (3) acquires a scenario consisting of a plurality of scenes, each lasting for a given time, is acquired in response to a demand made by a personal computer (1-1). The server acquires from a temporary edition space (6) a given number of original data items that will be used in the scenario, also in response to a demand made by the data-processing apparatus. The moving-picture server (3) selects prescribed ones of the original data items acquired and allocate them to the scenes of the scenario acquired. The server corrects the original data items selected, in accordance with the prescribed image data items that have been allocated to the scenes of the scenario. The image data is thereby edited.

摘要： In a content supply system, in order to use a streaming server to perform a live distribution, a user PC used makes a reservation for a time zone, etc. to a server reservation control center. The present invention is designed such that a user transmits to an ASP 32 over the Internet 5 user registration data necessary to secure his/her exclusive storage area prepared in the server 39 placed at the ASP 32, and that the user receives from the ASP 32 over the Internet 5 a URL designated as the access point indicating his/her exclusive storage area meeting the user registration data, based on which connection is made automatically to the access point in the content server 39 over the Internet 5, thus making it possible to connect to a pre-appointed access point with increased ease without forcing the user to perform an input operation for the URL.

Many kinds of contents to be provided in a time schedule frame matching the time demanded are sequentially provided to a client PC 4 based on a providing schedule set up to provide plural kinds of contents in each time schedule frame one by one, which keeps a client interested. A plurality of user PCs 2 share the exclusive storage area in the content server 39 and thus contents can be supplied to many and unspecific persons who have accessed. When the number of contents to be provided simultaneously at a desired time on the providing schedule has reached the upper value, reservations are controlled, thereby preventing the lowering of content transferring speed and ensuring a speedy provision.
