The shape of convex portions present on the outermost surface of the eyeglass lens located on a side on which the base material convex portions 6 are provided is an approximate shape of the base material convex portions configured to cause rays that have entered the eyeglass lens 1 to converge at a position B that is closer to the object than the predetermined position A is.

The coating device not only prevents dust from entering a treatment tank by sealing the treatment tank hermetically, but also reduces unevenness in thickness of the coating film in the case where the coating treatment is performed to a plurality of lenses.

摘要： In securing adhesion of a hard coat layer to be formed on the surface of a plastic lens, modification of the lens surface is carried out without using an abrasive, and thereby the cleaning time after modification is shortened. A method for producing a plastic lens includes rubbing to rub the surface of a plastic lens substrate using a removing member, and forming a hard coat layer on the rubbed surface of the plastic lens substrate by a wet surface treatment. The removing member has flexibility, and is made of a hard material that is harder than the material of the surface of the lens substrate or has such constitution that a hard material is fixed on a base material having flexibility.

摘要： Disclosed is a primer composition that comprises (A) polyurethane resin particles, (B) a urethane-forming monomer and/or oligomer, and (C) oxide microparticles. A method of manufacturing a plastic lens is also disclosed. The method comprises: forming a primer layer using a primer-forming composition comprising (A) polyurethane resin particles, (B) a urethane-forming monomer and/or oligomer, and (C) oxide microparticles on at least one surface of a plastic substrate; and forming a hard coat over said primer layer to obtain a plastic lens sequentially comprising a primer layer and a hard coat on at least one surface of a plastic substrate. A plastic lens comprising a primer layer and a hard coat on at least one surface of a plastic substrate is also disclosed. The primer layer is manufactured by using the primer-forming composition.
