    • An electrical apparatus including a battery module and a battery verification module is disclosed. The battery module has a verification circuit and an identification resistor. When the battery module is connected to the battery verification module, the battery verification module obtains a type information of the battery module according to the voltage level on a coupled point between a reference resistor and the identification resistor. The battery verification module transmits a verification request to the verification circuit to allow the verification circuit to transmit a verification signal to the battery verification module through a coupled path between the reference resistor and the identification resistor. The reference resistor is built in the battery verification module.

    • Scissor jacks are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a scissor jack includes a base, a saddle, a leadscrew, and a pair of arms. Each arm is rotatably coupled to the base and the saddle, and each arm is hinged at an elbow. A locking nut member having a threaded surface complementary to the leadscrew is rotatably coupled to one of the arms. The locking nut member is rotatable between an engaged configuration in which the threaded surface engages the leadscrew and a released configuration in which the threaded surface is disengaged from the leadscrew. The saddle is movable toward or away from the base without rotating the leadscrew while the locking nut member is at the released configuration, and the locking nut member must be at the engaged configuration for rotation of the leadscrew to cause the saddle to move toward or away from the base.

    • A navigation method and an electronic apparatus with navigation function are disclosed. The method includes the following steps. When it is navigated to a substantial junction of an ordinary road and an elevated road, a detection signal outputted from a detector of the electronic apparatus is read, wherein the detection signal indicates variations in a physical quantity along at least two directional axes. Next, a determination regarding whether the electronic apparatus is on the elevated road is made according to the detection signal. If the electronic apparatus is on the elevated road, it is navigated to the elevated road. If the electronic apparatus is not on the elevated road, the navigation proceeds based on the ordinary road. According to the embodiment of this method, the navigation can be made accurately and in time when it is navigated to the junction.
