摘要： A focal plane shutter device of the present invention is provided with leading blade braking means arranged near the terminal end of running down movement of the leading blades of the focal plane shutter to stop said leading blades in a standstill position either directly or through a member cooperative with the leading blades, and brake releasing means arranged in the trailing blades of the shutter upon termination of running down movement of the trailing blades to release the above-described leading blade braking means. Another feature is that the member cooperative with the leading blades in the standstill position and the braking member form a synchro-contact for use in flash photography.

摘要： An electromagnetically driven shutter for use in a photographic camera has blades driven by an electromagnetic drive source to move in vertical directions. The electrical power supply control means for the electromagnetic drive source is provided with means for detecting the photographic posture of the camera, whereby the output torque of the electromagnetic drive source is changed as the camera posture changes. This is done in order to insure that the speed of movement of the shutter blades is maintained constant regardless of whether or not the camera is positioned normally, or upside down.

摘要： In the disclosed electromagnetically driven shutter, a leading shutter member and a trailing shutter member are driven by respective electromagnetic drive sources through an exposure operation and a return operation. Selector switches supply drive current from a battery to electromagnetic coils of the drive sources and control the direction of the drive current. After an exposure operation, a relay sets the switches for a return operation and resets the switches for exposure. Preferably, the relay is controlled by signals delayed by different delay times from the termination of the exposure operation so as to set the switches correctly.

摘要： In the slit shutter disclosed, an actuator transmits the rotational force of an electromagnetic drive arrangement to move shutter blades through opening and closing cycles. A spring arrangement for engaging the actuating means serves to aid the shutter movement at the beginning of the cycle and retard the shutter movement at the end of each cycle while the spring arrangement is energized during its retarding action. According to an embodiment of the invention, the spring arrangement encounters an arm of the actuator at the end of each cycle, absorbs the arm movement during the retardation, and uses the energization to aid the movement at the start of the next cycle. The spring arrangement again encounters the arm at the end of the next cycle.
