    • A mobile terminal with a horizontality display function is provided. In the mobile terminal, a body plane is formed at one side of an exterior of a body of the mobile terminal, and an acceleration sensor is installed parallel to the body plane and detects an acceleration corresponding to a physical change with reference to a reference XY horizontal plane. A memory stores preset sensor offset value and sensor sensitivity value of the acceleration sensor, and a controller calculates inclination angles at which the body plane is inclined with respect to the reference XY horizontal plane, using the sensor offset value and the sensor sensitivity value stored in the memory. A horizontality display unit displays as an image a current horizontality detected by the controller on the basis of the calculated inclination angles with respect to the reference XY horizontal plane.

    • The present invention relates to a gene regulating leaf longevity of plants and a method for regulating the longevity of plants using the same. More particularly, it relates to a ORE7 gene regulating leaf longevity of plants which has a nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1, and to a method for regulating the longevity of plants, in which the ORE7 gene is introduced into the plants and overexpressed, thereby delaying senescence of the plants. Plants can be transformed with ORE7 gene according to the present invention, so that the longevity of the plants is extended, thereby improving productivity and storage efficiency of the plants. Furthermore, the ORE7 gene and an ORE7 protein expressed therefrom according to the present invention are useful for studies of senescence mechanisms, and for identification of senescence-associated genes or senescence inhibitory substances, in plants.

    • A method for setting an initial compensation value of a sensor complex module is provided. The method for setting the initial compensation value of the sensor complex module including an acceleration sensor, a memory, and a controller that performs the setting of the initial compensation value, includes the following steps. A preset sensitivity value and an offset value are read from the memory, and an acceleration value is detected using the acceleration sensor. Then, an accelerating-force sensitivity value is calculated using the acceleration value and the offset value, and an accelerating-force error value is calculated using the accelerating-force sensitivity value and the sensitivity value. A gradient error value is calculated using the accelerating-force error value and the acceleration of gravity, and a polarity value is set according to the accelerating-force sensitivity value. The accelerating-force error value, the gradient error value and the polarity value are stored in the memory, and the stored values are set as the initial compensation value.
