    • Connecting assembly that includes a first pipe connection having a central axis and a second pipe connection having a central axis. The first pipe connection is structured to be insertable into the second pipe connection. A holding rib is located on each of the first and second pipe connections coaxial to the central axes, respectively, and at least one of the holding ribs includes a rear flank arranged to delimit a groove. The hose coupling further includes a pipe, wherein an end portion of the hose can be pushed onto an end portion of the pipe and can be clamped by means of the clamp. The end portion of the pipe is provided with a circumferential holding rib, wherein the end portion of the hose can be pushed past the holding rib and wherein the clamp can be clamped on the hose above the holding rib so that the hose is secured between the holding rib and the clamp. The clamp includes an elastic, circular circumferential metal clamping band of uniform thickness.

    • A clip for clamping an article, such as a hose, includes an annular clip band and a plurality of annular insert bands. Each of the insert bands has a first end section and a second end section. The end sections extend in the circumferential direction and overlap one another. One of the insert bands selectively surrounds a radial inside surface of the clip band. Each of the insert bands has a resistance to a relative displacement occurring in the circumferential direction of their mutually overlapping end sections. The resistances for each of the insert bands differs in such a manner that, when a predetermined clamping force is exerted on the clip band in the circumferential direction, a different predetermined radial clamping force on the clamped article results with the use of each respective insert band.

    • A holding device for securing a hose clip in position relative to a pipe connection over which a hose is to be positioned. The holding device has a plurality of holding arms arranged around an axis. The holding arms are connected by a connecting body and each has an internal, radially inwardly directed groove. All grooves are in the same transverse plane of the holding arms and are of the same width as the clip band so that the clip band can be received therein. Preferably, a hose clip in the form of a spring band clip with a clip band having radially outwardly angled clamping jaws is used. A U-shaped clamp, which holds the clamping jaws together when the spring band clip is in an open position, may be connected to the connecting body by a connecting member which permits the clamp to pivot away from the clamping jaws but which prevents the clamp from being separated and thereby becoming lost.

    • A coupling device which separably connects the end of a hose to the end of a pipe has a sleeve one end portion of which is connectable to the end of the hose and the other end portion of which has axially parallel resilient radially movable prongs serving to establish a form-locking connection with an external rib on the end of the pipe in response to insertion of the end of the pipe into the other end portion of the sleeve. A locking ring which is reciprocable on the sleeve between a retracted position and an operative position has axially parallel arms which overlie the prongs in the operative position of the ring. A C-shaped indicator of the condition of the form-locking connection has tongue-like male detent members which extend into sockets provided therefor in the prongs when the ring is held in the retracted position and the end of the pipe is not in form-locking engagement with the prongs of the sleeve. The detent members are expelled from their sockets in response to form-locking engagement between the pipe and the sleeve, and the indicator is thereupon displaced longitudinally of the sleeve in response to movement of the ring to its operative position.
