摘要： A method of forming barrier ribs includes the following steps. The first step is to form a barrier rib material layer on a substrate. The second step is to form a resist film on the barrier rib material layer. The third step is to form the barrier rib material layer into a barrier rib pattern material layer. The fourth step is to remove the resist film from the barrier rib pattern material layer. The fifth step is to fire the barrier rib pattern material layer to form barrier ribs. In the above steps, a bonding layer is formed between the substrate and the barrier rib material layer. The bonding layer has such a bonding strength that sufficiently maintains the barrier rib pattern material layer on the substrate upon removing the resist film from the barrier rib pattern material, and is made from a thermally burning-out material that is burned out upon firing the barrier rib pattern material layer.

摘要： A liquid discharge device includes a plurality of sets of a liquid chamber, a nozzle, a piezoelectric element, and an output waveform generator. The liquid chamber stores a liquid. The nozzle communicates with the liquid chamber. The piezoelectric element causes the liquid in the liquid chamber to be discharged from the nozzle as a droplet in response to application of a voltage to the piezoelectric element. The output waveform generator generates a drive waveform of the voltage applied to the piezoelectric element. The output waveform generator includes an output voltage selector to combine multiple voltages to generate the drive waveform and a slope switching selector to switch a slope of the drive waveform generated by the output voltage selector.

摘要： A heating treatment method includes the steps of: preparing an array of heating chambers, the heating chambers being respectively provided with heaters and connected in series; transporting an object to be heated from an upstream side toward a downstream side of the array to allow the object to pass through the heating chambers; supplying and discharging a warm air flow to and from each heating chamber, and controlling an amount of each supplied warm air flow and an amount of each discharged warm air flow to generate an air flow traveling along a direction in which the object is raised in temperature.
