摘要： The segment connection type electric rotating machine includes a stator coil constituted by phase coils each of which includes a U-shaped segment continuum formed by U-shaped conductor segments inserted into slots of a stator core, an I-shaped leading conductor segment inserted into one of the slots and connected to a lead end of the U-shaped segment continuum, and an I-shaped terminating conductor segment inserted into one of the slots and connected to a terminal end of the U-shaped segment continuum. A connector box fixed to the outer periphery of the stator core. A power supply lead is laid between the connector box and the I-shaped leading conductor segment. The power supply lead is welded at a tip portion thereof to an end portion of the I-shaped leading conductor segment in the vicinity of head-side coil ends of the stator coil.

摘要： A polyphase sequentially joined-segment coil of a rotary electric machine and a production method thereof are provided. The coil is made up of a plurality of conductor segments joined in series. Each of the conductor segments a head projecting from a stator core, a pair of legs, and a pair of ends projecting from the stator core. The heads are of two types: a large-sized head and a small-sized head extending inside the large-sized head. This structure permits the length of the conductor segments in an axial direction of the core to be decreased and improves cooling capability of the machine and coil losses.

摘要： After forming a first wire on a first interlayer insulation film, a second interlayer insulation film is formed and planarized, to thereby form a via hole. At this stage, the via hole is formed off the first wire. Next, after making an exposed edge and an exposed side wall of the first wire slanted surfaces, a second wire is formed with or without a conductive film buried within the via hole. Since the side wall of the first wire is a slanted surface in this manner, it is possible to completely bury a wire material of the second wire or the conductive film within the via hole, and therefore, it is possible to ensure electric conduction all over the slanted surfaces of the first wire. As a result, even if the via hole which connects the first wire in a lower layer and the second wire in an upper layer is formed of f the first wire, an increase in a wire resistance in the via hole is prevented.

摘要： An image display apparatus is disclosed which includes: an optical system including a light source and at least one projection lens; a display means for forming a display image, the display means including a non-luminescent display panel and a microlens array disposed on the light-incidence side of the display panel; and at least one projection lens for projecting the display image; wherein the display panel and the microlens array are combined with each other by means of an adhesive made of a transparent material. In cases where the microlens array is provided with color filters which are arranged so as to correspond to the microlenses of this array, the image display apparatus can provide a bright display of color images with an improved contrast. Moreover, when the display panel and the microlens array are combined with each other by means of an adhesive containing spacers, the image display apparatus has a high thermal reliability.

摘要： A stator for a multiple-phase rotary electric machine is provided with a stator core with slots and a coil formed of a plurality of windings for individual phases. Each winding has slot-accommodated portions accommodated in different slots, turn portions connecting the slot-accommodated portions outside of the slots in an axial direction, and a return portion that connects two of the turn portions and changes a winding direction of the winding at given slots. The turn portions include specific turn portions which are the same in a circumferential position as the turn portion connected to one of the return portion.
