    • An integrated data center method and system combines a storage controller and one or more appliances onto a computer platform. Storage controller component executes on the hardware of a computer platform and has exclusive access to a first storage controller host bus adapter coupled to a storage shelf having one or more storage devices. The method and system provisions a virtualized instance of the hardware from the computer platform to deliver application services from an appliance component. The appliance component may share the processing resources from the computer platform through multiple different virtual machines. With respect to storage, aspects of the present invention exclusively associates an appliance host bus adapter from the computer platform to the appliance component. In addition, aspects of the present invention also provide control of the appliance host bus adapter to the appliance component passing through the virtualized instance of the hardware. To access the storage devices, the appliance host bus adapter and corresponding appliance component are coupled with a second storage controller host bus adapter associated with the storage controller component. Aspects of the present invention enable the access to the storage controller component and storage devices from each appliance host bus adapter. This enables applications associated with the appliance component to perform storage operations on the storage devices at a high throughput even though the applications are executing within a virtualized instance of the hardware.

The system includes an input module, a password triggering module, an operation module, and an authentication module. The input module receives an operator password input by a user. The password triggering module generates a trigger signal and then generates a prompt password according to the trigger signal. The operation module performs a mathematical operation on the prompt password according to the operator password, so as to generate the authentication password. The authentication module receives a login password and compares the login password with the authentication password, so as to determine whether to authorize a login request on the electronic device.

    • A hue segmentation system and method thereof suitable for image devices are described. First, a plurality of hue segments are generated based on color data of a plurality of colors in a color gamut. Then, the area difference between the hue segments and the color gamut is calculated. If the area difference is greater than a predetermined value, the hue segmentation system searches at least one vertex among the hue segments to divide the segments for generating a plurality of additional hue segments. The above-mentioned steps are performed repeatedly until the area difference is less than the predetermined value. Thus fewer hue segments indicate the color gamut of color processing of the image devices to effectively decrease calculation times and save required memory.

    • The present invention provides a method and apparatus for generating the mosquito bait as well as simulating the human body's surface temperature and emanated odor. A well-controlled heating assembly can be used to generate a suitable thermal gradient for incubating both microorganisms and evaporating the bait. The bait comprises at least the bacterial decomposition and the yeast fermentation solution. The bait is not poisonous to human beings and produces mosquito attractants from natural products of fermentation or decomposition. The apparatus according to this invention comprises at least an upper compartment for trapping mosquitoes and a bottom compartment including the bait and the heating assembly. This invention can also combine with electrocution grids or insecticide webs to destroy attracted mosquitoes.
