摘要： An approach for providing compression of a database table that uses a compiled table algorithm (CTA) that provides leverage. Data within any given column in adjacent rows is often the same as or closely related to its neighbors. Rather than storing data in each column of each row as a specific integer, floating point, or character data value, a field reconstruction instruction is stored that when executed by a decompression engine can reconstruct the data value. The field reconstruction instruction may be bit granular and may depend upon past history given that the data compression engine may preserve state as row data is streamed off a storage device.

摘要： A sectionalized, pivotal wall for an enclosure is described. The wall consists of three horizontally extending sections supported by a frame. In a closed position, the three sections are contained in a common vertical plane. The upper section is pivotally mounted, about its upper horizontal edge, on a supporting frame, and drive means carried by the frame is provided for outward pivotal movement thereof, selectively, to an angle of up to about 90.degree. to the vertical. The intermediate and lower sections are hingedly interconnected at the lower and upper edges, respectively, and are also supported at the ends thereof by the frame. Retaining means are provided on both the intermediate and lower sections for retaining said sections in a closed position, or individually, in an open position wherein one section is rotated outwardly about the hinge, 180.degree. to overlie the other section. The wall is preferred for use in constructing hog raising enclosures.
