    • An LED illuminating device comprises a housing with a base plate, a prism sheet and a circuit board. The prism sheet is mounted in the housing and comprises a number of V-shaped micro-grooves formed thereon along three directions intersecting with each other. The circuit board is fixed on the base plate, wherein a plurality of LED units are arranged on the circuit board, each two adjacent LED units are spaced a preset distance apart from each other and emit light of different colors. Six virtual mixed light sources are formed by reflection of the prism sheet to the circuit board when the light emitted by an LED unit mixes with light emitted from adjacent LED units on the circuit board. Each of the virtual mixed light sources has a color different from the colors of the light emitted from the LED units.

    • A surface light source device includes a lamp post, a number of light sources distributed in rows on the side surfaces of the lamp post, and a number of first prism sheets and second prism sheets arranged around the lamp post in that order. Each of the first prism sheets and the second prism sheets includes a light incident surface and a light exit surface opposite to the light incident surface. Each of the light exit surfaces includes a number of substantially parallel elongated protrusions, and the longitudinal directions of the elongated protrusions of the first prism sheet and the second prism sheet are substantially perpendicular to each other. The first prism sheets and the lamp post are approximately spaced by a first predefined distance, and the second prism sheets and the first prism sheets are approximately spaced by a second predefined distance.

    • An LED ceiling lamp includes a primary illumination unit and at least one subsidiary illumination unit. The primary illumination includes a base and a connecting member to fix the base to a ceiling. Each of the at least one subsidiary illumination unit is fixed to the base and faces the ceiling. Each of the at least one subsidiary illumination unit comprises a circuit board with an LED unit, a lens and a reflector. The lens covers the circuit board. The circuit board and the lens are received in the reflector. The lens is configured for dividing the light beams from the LED units into several light groups. An aphotic area is formed between each two adjacent light groups. The reflector is configured for reflecting the several light groups on the ceiling.

    • An exemplary optical plate includes a transparent layer and a light diffusion layer. The transparent layer and the light diffusion layer are integrally formed. The transparent layer includes a light input interface, a light output surface opposite to the light input interface, and a plurality of curved, elongated, V-shaped micro-protrusions are formed on the light output surface. The light diffusion layer is located adjacent to the light input interface of the transparent layer. A plurality of V-shaped micro-protrusions are formed on an outer surface of the light diffusion layer. A liquid crystal display device using the optical plate is also provided.
