The method including if a position information service for a user of a mobile communication terminal subscribed to the position information service is requested, searching for position information on the relevant terminal in a position information server with position information on a predetermined mobile communication terminal; transmitting the searched position information to a short message service center; and generating a data burst message using the position information received from the short message service center, and transmitting the generated data burst message to the mobile communication terminal.

摘要： An apparatus and method for displaying a detailed map of a selected area of a displayed map received through a network are provided. If a detailed map of a particular area is requested by a user, data on the detailed map for the particular area is provided by a map provider server through a network and combined with data on the original map. A map including maps drawn to two different scales is displayed on a display device, i.e., the original map is continuously displayed while only the particular area is replaced by the detailed map. Therefore, the readability of the map is improved, and desired geographical information can be easily obtained.

摘要： A fault tolerant network using a dual cross path for real-time switching and packet handling method are disclosed. In DRDT-II, one of two packets received from two input ports is selected, the other is discarded, and two duplicated packets are transmitted through two output ports. That is, one link bypasses one node. In DRDT-III, the other link bypasses two nodes. Even when fault occurs in neighboring nodes at the same time, only these nodes are abandoned, and remaining nodes can be communicated with one another, improving the reliability of the network.
