    • A surgical system for cutting tissue of a patient includes an outer housing and a reciprocating assembly structurally configured to carry a cutting tool in a reciprocating motion. An actuator knob is manually accessible to the user and may be fixed axially to the outer housing. The reciprocating assembly may reciprocate relative to the actuator knob. The actuator knob may be configured for rotational movement between a lock position and an unlock position. The system may also include a locking mechanism configured to retain a cutting tool within the reciprocating assembly. The locking mechanism may be responsive to movement of the actuator knob to maintain the tool within the output shaft when the actuator knob is in the lock position and permit removal of the tool when the actuator knob is in the unlock position. Surgical cutting tools, such as blades include thickness enhancing features.

    • An engine idle controller for an engine driven pressure washer. The pressure washer delivers high pressure water from a pump through the idle controller to a conventional wand which includes a manually operated, normally closed flow control valve and a spray nozzle. When the wand valve is opened, a resulting pressure drop between two chambers in the flow controller acts on a piston to move the engine throttle to a full throttle position. When the wand valve is closed, the pressures in the chambers equalize and the piston is moved to a position to set the engine throttle to an idle position.

The irrigation clip includes a proximal portion, a distal portion, a body portion, and an arm portion. The arm portion is structurally configured to selectively attach the irrigation clip to the surgical instrument and to bias the irrigation clip toward the surgical instrument with a biasing force. The irrigation clip includes a tube locking portion structurally arranged to cooperate with the surgical instrument to engage the outer surface portion of the irrigation tube to inhibit rotation and axial displacement of the irrigation tube relative to the irrigation clip in response to the biasing force.

    • An air compressor cylinder sleeve is formed from an extrusion having a central passage surrounded by a plurality of closed sided passages. Preferably, grooves are formed between adjacent ones of the closed sided passages. The extrusion is cut into individual cylinder sleeves which are mounted on compressor housings. The central passage receives a piston which is reciprocated by an eccentric on a motor shaft. The ends of the closed sided passages adjacent the housing open into the interior of the housing and the opposite ends of the passages open to atmosphere. A fan on the motor shaft causes air to flow through the compressor housing and through the closed sided passages to cool the cylinder sleeve.
