摘要： A system and method for managing requests for system resources from a plurality of users. Usage data is maintained for each user with respect to a user quota and a system quota. Aggregate system usage data is also maintained. A user request is checked for compliance with a user quota. The request is checked for compliance with a system quota. If either quota is not complied with, a hint that indicates when to send a next request is determined and sent to the user. Compliance with the system quota may include use of a reservation system, in which the allowance of a request may be based on a user's system usage data, so that a user with lower usage is more likely to have a request accepted when the system is loaded.

摘要： A team sport entertainment simulation game-play innovation that enables the user to optionally choose the offensive or defensive player to control prior to the start of the play regardless of ball possession and to control that player until the play terminates, or for a portion of the play until the user cancels the player specific mode. The user is expected to perform the characteristic behavior of the controlled player's position (e.g. quarterback, running back, wide receiver, defensive back, etc. in the example of the team sport of football). Missions, which describe the characteristic behavior of the position, provide goals and incentives to play the position properly or in another manner. Upon completion of the tasks outlined in the missions the user is rewarded with player attribute upgrades that increase the player's odds of winning the game.

摘要： Disclosed is an ostial stent positioner that has the form of a wire for most of its length and having a short cylinder with expandable legs situated at the positioner's distal end. The cylinder with its attached wire acts as an introducer sheath to introduce a stent delivery system with a stent into the artery that is to be stented. A second aspect of the present invention is a method for accurately placing a stent at the ostium of an artery that would have an ostial stenosis. Examples of such arteries that have ostial stenoses are the right and left main coronary arteries, a saphenous vein graft as used in coronary bypass surgery and the renal arteries. Also disclosed are designs for the short cylinder that have a variable diameter so as to fit snugly within guiding catheters having different inside diameters.
