    • A relay comprises a main body containing first, second, and third contact carriers, connection pins, and a magnetic system. The first, second, and third contact carriers are provided with contacts. Each of the first, second, and third contact carriers is connected to at least one of the connection pins. The connection pins protrude outward from a connection side of the relay. The magnetic system is mechanically coupled to at least one of the first, second and third contact carriers for changing switching states of the contacts. An insertion member having a plurality of webs is arranged adjacent to the connection side. The insertion member is introduced into the main body from an assembly side adjoining the connection side such that one of the webs of the insertion member is positioned between each of the first, second, and third carrier contacts.

    • The invention relates to an electromagnetic relay comprising a changeover contact and a working contact, the changeover contact abutting an stop in the open position. The changeover contact interacts via a slide member with an armature plate, which is arranged on a different side of the coil, opposite the changeover contact. The stop comprises an abutment surface, which is arranged below contact buttons of the changeover contact and abuts the changeover contact below the contact buttons in the open position. Improved activation behavior of the relay is achieved as a result of this position of the abutment surface. The useful life of the relay is also lengthened as a result of this embodiment of the stop.

    • An electrical relay includes a magnetic system, a contact system and a slider. The magnetic system includes an armature. The contact system includes a moveable spring contact and a fixed spring contact. The moveable spring contact is moveable between an open position and a closed position. The moveable spring contact is in electrical contact with the fixed spring contact in the closed position. The slider connects the moveable spring contact to the armature. The slider transfers movement of the armature to the moveable spring contact. The slider has at least one contact opening element extending there from. The contact opening element strikes the moveable spring contact during movement of the moveable spring contact to the open position to break any existing weld between the moveable spring contact and the fixed spring contact.

    • A heavy duty relay can safely switch a current of 40 A to 1 kA. The normally-open contact is arranged on a normally-open spring contact, which exhibits a higher spring stiffness than the changeover spring and is resiliently deflected in the switching position, and the changeover spring and/or the normally-open spring contact comprises a deflection region at least partially surrounded by a weakened zone. The spring stiffness of the deflection region is reduced relative to the region of the changeover spring and/or the normally-open spring contact surrounding the weakened zone.

    • A relay includes a magnetic system provided with an armature and a contact system provided with a first contact and a moveable second contact. An electrically insulating base plate is arranged between the magnetic system and the contact system and has an opening therein.     • A magnet system for a bi-stable relay includes a coil, first and second core yoke members, and an armature. The coil has a first polarity state and a second polarity state. Each of the first and second core yoke members has a core arm and a yoke arm. Each of the yoke arms of the first and second core yoke members has a pole face. The armature has substantially parallel armature core arms separated by a permanent magnet. The armature is pivotally mounted in an air gap between the pole faces of the yoke arms of the first and second core yoke members such that the armature core arms contact the yoke arms in a first switch position corresponding to the first polarity state and in a second switch position corresponding to the second polarity state. The armature core arms are arranged substantially perpendicular to a center axis of the coil.
