    • The static mixer is used for a curing mixed product of flowable components that react to form a solidifying mass on mixing. The mixer has mixing chambers that are arranged behind one another and next to one another along a tube axis. Each mixing chamber is delineated by longitudinal walls oriented in the direction of the tube axis and by transverse walls standing transversely to the tube axis. Openings in the longitudinal walls and in the floor of each mixing chamber establish inlets and outlets for the mixed product. The corner of at least some of the mixing chambers upstream of an outlet in the longitudinal walls is filled in to form a concave surface for directing the flowable components towards the outlet. The transverse wall at an inlet to at least some of the mixing chambers is also formed with a concave surface for directing the flowable components through the inlet into the mixing chamber.

    • The component (1) for a static mixer(100) is manufactured by cutting and forming or by stamping out of a planar material strip (10). It extends in a longitudinal direction (11) given by the material strip. The component has transverse segments (2) arranged at intervals transversely to the longitudinal direction (11) that lie in a central plane (12) of the component (1) after forming or stamping. Strip fields (30) are located between the transverse segments (2), correspond to a line pattern made by the cutting or stamping and include longitudinal strips (3), i.e. strips (3) extending in a longitudinal direction. The transverse widths of the strips can be variable. For each strip, half-strips (7, 8′; 8, 7′) can be respectively distinguished with respect to the central region (6) of the strip field. The half-strips are bent out of the central plane (12) by the forming or stamping, and each form a bending edge with respect to the transverse segments (2) at the base lines (32).

    • A static mixer includes a plurality of mixing chambers for mixing at least two flowable components. The mixing chambers are arranged one behind the other as well as adjacently in a tube along a tube axis. The mixer includes basic mixing chambers and modified mixing chambers. Basic mixing chambers are bounded off from one another by radial walls oriented in the direction of the tube axis and by end walls transverse to the tube axis. Apertures in the radial walls form inputs and outputs between adjacent chambers for the components to be mixed. Modified mixing chambers have structural modifications relative to the basic mixing chambers. In one embodiment, the modification includes adding inclined walls. In another embodiment, the modification includes changing the longitudinal dimension of the chamber relative to the basic mixing chamber.

    • The invention relates to a multicomponent foil-type container comprising a first chamber (5) for accommodating a first component, at least one second chamber (5′) for accommodating a second component, a discharge duct (6) that can be connected to said chambers (5, 5′), deflection elements (11) for mixing the components within the discharge duct (6), and a seal (12; 12′; 21; 25, 25′; 36, 36′) which prevents the components from being mixed before being used and can be opened for discharging the components. The deflection elements (11) of the inventive multicomponent foil-type container are disposed on a separate mixing element (9) that is located in the discharge duct (6) such that the multicomponent foil-type container is easy to produce while allowing different components to be mixed in a particularly effectively manner. The invention further relates to a device for squeezing a multicomponent foil-type container in a particularly effective fashion. The disclosed squeezing device is provided with a holding element (61; 77) for accommodating a multicomponent foil-type container. At least one leg (68, 69; 88) that can be moved towards the chambers (5, 5′) of the multicomponent foil-type container in order to squeeze the multicomponent foil-type container is hingedly connected to the end of the holding element (61; 77) which faces the rear end of an inserted multicomponent foil-type container, resulting in the components being effectively mixed.
