摘要： A swivel elbow and connector assembly for a patient interface system includes a ring configured to be sealingly secured in an aperture of the patient interface system. The ring includes a first side in an interior of the patient interface system and a second side at an exterior of the patient interface system when the ring is secured in the aperture. The ring also includes a plurality of vents configured to permit flow of gases from the interior to the exterior of the patient interface system. The swivel elbow and connector assembly includes an elbow swivelably secured in the ring. A patient interface system for delivering a flow of breathable gas to a user includes a patient interface structure configured to sealing engage the face of the user. The patient interface structure includes an aperture. A swivel elbow and connector assembly is sealingly secured in the aperture.

摘要： A vent arrangement is provided to a mask to discharge exhaled gas from the mask to atmosphere. The vent arrangement is structured to diffuse the exhaust vent flow to produce less air jetting, thereby increasing the comfort of the patient and their bed partner. The vent may include a first wall, a second wall defining an outer perimeter, and a plurality of gas washout vent holes positioned between the first wall and the second wall, the vent holes having an inner edge positioned within the outer perimeter of the second wall.

摘要： A surface treating appliance includes a main body, a head and a connector. The connector is adapted and arranged to connect the head to the main body while allowing relative rotation therebetween. The connector includes a connecting member which is removable from the remainder of the connector to allow the head to be released from the main body. At least a part of the connecting member forms a part of the external surface of the surface treating appliance. By providing such an arrangement, the connecting member is immediately visible to the user and can be accessed easily. Further, only the connecting member needs to be removed in order to release the head from the main body, making removal of the head a simple and straightforward process.
