    • A surround sound processor system includes an in-phase decoder circuit, an out-of-phase decoder circuit, and a plurality of audio amplifiers. In a wireless embodiment, the surround sound processor system also includes a plurality of FM transmitters and a plurality of FM receivers. A surround sound process system can take the stereo audio signal from a stereo VCR, a stereo receiver, a car stereo, or a stereo TV to produce a three dimensional sound field. A left audio signal and a right audio signal are input into an in-phase decoder, the in-phase audio signals are extracted from the left and right audio signals while the out-of-phase audio signals are canceled. The in-phase audio signals are sent to an audio amplifier and then to at least one center speaker. A left audio signal and a right audio signal are input into an out-of-phase decoder, the out-of-phase audio signals are extracted from the left and right audio signals while the in-phase audio signals are canceled. The out-of-phase audio signals are sent to an audio amplifier and then to at least one rear speaker. The wireless surround sound processor utilizes an FM transmission link as opposed to hard wiring.

    • A capacitor provides a plurality of selectable capacitance values, by selective connection of six concentrically wound capacitor sections of a capacitive element each having a capacitance value. The capacitor sections each have a respective section element terminal at a first end of the capacitive element and the capacitor sections have a common element terminal at a second end of the capacitive element. A pressure interrupter cover assembly is sealingly secured to the open end a case for the element and has a deformable cover with a centrally mounted common cover terminal and a plurality of section cover terminals mounted at spaced apart locations. A conductor frangibly connects the common element terminal of the capacitive element to the common cover terminal and conductors respectively frangibly connect the capacitor section terminals to the section cover terminals. Deformation of the cover caused by failure of the capacitor element breaks at least some of the frangible connections sufficient to disconnect the capacitive element from an electric circuit in which it is connected. A cover insulation barrier mounted on the deformable cover, has a barrier cup substantially surrounding the common cover terminal and a plurality of barrier fins each extending radially outwardly from the barrier cup, and deployed between adjacent section cover.

    • A metallized film capacitor is provided with a polyurethane oil insulating fluid. The insulating fluid has a viscosity in the range of about 500 to 3000 poise at 25.degree. C. The polyurethane oil insulating fluid is produced by reacting an organic polyisocyanate with a primary polyol selected from the group consisting of castor oil, ricinoleic acid derivatives of castor oil and mixtures thereof. The reaction may be carried out in the presence of a secondary polyol chain extender such as a hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene diol. The reaction to produce the insulating fluid is carried out under conditions wherein the ratio of NCO groups of the organic polyisocyanate to OH groups of the primary and secondary polyols, if present, is in the range of about 0.1 to 1 to about 0.6 to 1. The ratio ensures that there is no excess of unreacted NCO groups in the insulating fluid and that the reaction produces a viscous fluid, not a substantially solid elastomer.
