摘要： A mop comprises a mop head and a handle connected to the mop head at a pivot. The mop head and handle have a front and a back. A fluid reservoir for spraying a fluid at the front of the mop head. A trigger is disposed on the handle remote from the mop head, where the trigger controls the spraying of the fluid from the reservoir. The trigger is movable between a non-actuated position and an actuated position where the trigger moves toward the back as it moves from the non-actuated position to the actuated position. A method of using the mop is also provided.

摘要： The dispersion of optical signals derived from a spontaneous emitter when coupled into an optical fiber waveguide is substantially reduced by optically coupling a narrow band pass interference filter between the emitter and waveguide. Only a narrow portion of the broad spectral width emission of the emitter is thereby coupled into the waveguide to provide emitter modulation rates limited only by the rise-time of the emitter. In the preferred embodiment, the coupled spectral portion corresponds to the wavelengths of peak emission. Additionally, the filter is a thin film filter deposited onto either the light-exiting face of the emitter or onto the light-receiving end of the fiber waveguide.

摘要： A mop bucket system includes a liquid-retaining portion and an energy-dissipation device. The liquid-retaining portion is configured to retain liquid. It has a bottom wall portion, a first sidewall portion, a second sidewall portion facing the first sidewall portion, a third sidewall portion, and a fourth sidewall portion facing the third sidewall portion. The liquid-retaining portion permits retained liquid to move in a liquid-movement direction extending from the first sidewall portion toward the second sidewall portion within a higher-momentum region having a width that is approximately 70% of a distance between the third sidewall portion and the fourth sidewall portion. The energy-dissipation device is disposed within the liquid-retaining portion and extends into the higher-momentum region. The energy-dissipation device being configured to inhibit build up of momentum of liquid in the higher-momentum region along at least a portion of the liquid-movement direction by breaking surface tension of the liquid.

The side walls of each of the slots terminate in an opening at one end of each of the slots which opening has a diameter larger than the diameter of the top portion of the bottles supported by the slots to enable bottles which move from the slot to the opening to drop through the opening from the planar dispensing rack to a dispensing station. A gating member is provided to control movement of the bottles from each of the slots to the opening to effect movement of a bottle from the dispensing rack to the dispensing station.
